  Rick Erwin’s Eastside never disappoints. We dine here often and are always impressed by the professionalism, exceptional service, and consistently outstanding food. The Mother’s Day ambiance yesterday was especially thoughtful - from the signed cards and curated playlist to the freshly baked cookies and gifts for the mothers, every detail was beautifully done. The staff is always welcoming, and the servers and attendants go above and beyond to create a top-notch dining experience. The Surf and Turf is always my go-to, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Hands down, some of the best steaks around!

  I’m extremely disappointed with our experience at Rick Erwin’s on April 29, 2026. We chose this restaurant specifically to host an out-of-country business client, expecting a high-end, professional dining experience. Unfortunately, it was anything but. Throughout the meal, there were numerous fruit flies constantly flying around our table—landing on our glasses and hovering around our faces. It was not only distracting, but honestly embarrassing given the setting and the company we were hosting. I quietly brought this to our waitress’s attention, expecting it to be taken seriously. Instead, her response was simply “okay,” with no follow-up, no attempt to remedy the situation, and no manager ever came by to address it. For a restaurant of this caliber, the lack of urgency, concern, or basic hospitality was surprising. This wasn’t just an inconvenience—it made what should have been an important business dinner feel uncomfortable and unprofessional. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was too disappointing to ignore. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses both the cleanliness issue and the lack of customer service response.

  Wow. We couldn’t have been more impressed! We chose to celebrate our last night of our honeymoon here, and man was that a good decision! Our waiter, Christopher, was so attentive and warm and happily replaced my cocktail when I wasn’t super set on my first choice. They even gave us two free desserts at the end of our meal to celebrate our first time coming in and our honeymoon! We felt so celebrated and cared for. Our food was also very delicious. We will definitely be back!!!

  We enjoyed a perfect 58th anniversary celebration. The food and service was superb. We send a big shout-out and special appreciation to Shannon for her excellent personable and professional service.
