  Ok, I am not even a sushi lover, but this place does everything a restaurant should do, and does it well. We went on a weekday at 5:00 to take advantage of happy hour, and it definitely makes you feel like you are getting better value as I have seen several reviews complaining about the price to portion ratio. If you go for happy hour, you can get 2 nice sized rolls and stay under $25 no problem. We definitely got more food than that because it was so good, but we wouldn't have had to. The shrimp app was my favorite! As for the experience... The host when we walked in was friendly and was REAL! Told us about how he started working there a few weeks ago and how much he loved being there, and it was genuine! Another lady said "have fun!" as we went to our table and it was so cute. Our server Laura was so accomodating! We initially sat outside, but the bugs were getting annoying so we asked to move back in and she was so helpful and reassuring that it was no problem at all. The manager also brought us out a complimentary tuna app for my wife's bday (it had a fancier name but I don't recall). The atmosphere is on the upscale side, but not a place you feel like you need to dress nice or can't bring a kid. We had our 4 month old, and we were not the only ones with a baby. My wife said this is her new favorite restaurant in Greenville, and for good reason! Bravo O-Ku.

  Anna made our first experience here at O-Ku amazing. We came for our anniversary and she was very kind. The food was OUTSTANDING! We will definitely be coming back!

  BEST SUSHI IN TOWN, I’m telling you. It does not get better. The truffle edamame and oyster mushroom appetizers are 10/10. The wine and beer selection is wonderful. The sushi is incredibly fresh. I take family here anytime they visit from out of town. Service is excellent, and the beignets for dessert are to die for.

  Ingredients is really fresh. The flavor and textures were very suttle and nicely layered in. Service was really nice. They also gave me a couple of complentary dishes. Sushi was a 10-10 quality. They're also we're good about customizing things and adjusting things for me.

  Came here for a dinner reservation and seating was rather quick and service along with drinks was fairly good as well. Only issue, which is major to us as sushi lovers, is that the crispy rice smelt awful fishy and not In a good way. We finished off our meal after several other dishes and both me and my partner ended up getting sick both from vomiting as well as other forms of sickness 💩. We will not be returning and are severely disappointed with how we felt after what is considered a higher end meal. I would like to add as an honorable mention that my partner never gets sick and this caused her to vomit in public which is in itself an unforeseen event. I will certainly be reaching out to the restaurant in the AM to inform them on our negatively impactful meal.
