  Drinks and food was so good! Our server was very knowledgeable with the menu and had great recommendations. Highly recommend this place for a date night.

  I have never written a review but I felt it was necessary to express my love for this restaurant. Over the last 3 years, O-Ku has become a go to spot for me. The food and drink selection is incredible and it was always exciting to try something new. The atmosphere gives a very “lo-fi” feel (that’s the best I can describe it) with the background music to match. Extremely cozy. The staff is also wonderful and will always make sure you have a good experience. One such worker, Devyn, I’ve had a few times as a server and she has always been extremely warm and welcoming. I’ve also shared a fair few handshakes with the management who were always excited to share a quick conversation. Couldn’t think of a better send off from Greenville tonight. If you are celebrating anything, they will make it special. (For my graduation celebration last year they gave me a literal fish fossil coaster since I received a geology degree, how awesome!) If you like sushi/Japanese cuisine and want to have a nicer sit down dinner, you have to give O-Ku a try. Thank you for your time hosting me over these few years!

  The food was AMAZING, The Upstate Sushi roll is the BEST we have ever had. Devon, our waitress, was extremely knowledgeable, fun and a delight. The atmosphere is great, it is a little loud.

  I went here for the first time with a friend. After living in Japan for 16 years I'm always on the look out for a sushi place that can come close to what I was getting back in Japan. The maki rolls are very Americanized. Lots of sauces and things going on with the rolls. The flavors are good but too much for my taste. Simple is better IMO. The nigiri was pretty good. The scallops were very good as was the eel. The octopus was a little disappointing but still edible. The manager was kind enough to take this off our bill even though we were willing to pay for it. We sat outside near the playground. It was a little chaotic with all the kids playing. We found out later that the AC had stopped working inside so I'm glad we were outside. Our server was okay. He was not very friendly. I wish he would have checked on us a little more but we had several managers stop by the table that made up for his lack of enthusiasm. The prices were on the high side for the quality. I'm glad I tried it but not sure I would be back.

  We arrived at 5pm just as the doors opened and were seated immediately. There were 4 in our party and we placed our orders within the 1st 15 minutes of the restaurant opening. Upfront, we explained that we had 75 mins to eat and exit as we had tickets to a Broadway show. Waitress indicated this would not be a problem. Seventy-five mins later, we still did not have our dinner order. After the 75 minute wait and still not getting our food, we informed the waitress we had to leave without waiting any longer for our meals in order to make our Broadway show. Staff, including the manager, attempted to force us to pay for our meals anyway and take them “to go.” Peace Center does not allow outside food! There were no apologies from staff or manger for the unreasonable delay, for the inconvenience, for the failure to get our order in a timely manner; and we were treated disrespectfully. Very disappointed and will never go back.
