Good food an excellent service. Ryan was a fantastic server. The food came out quickly and hot. I loved my cheese steak and the smash burger was good, too. I wasn't a big fan of the house chips. They were dusted with a spice that didn't do it for me, but they were very crispy like chips should be. The crab pretzel appetizer was incredible. There were two of us and it absolutely could have served at least 4. It was incredibly rich and delicious.
We ate at Lefty’s during restaurant week, and tried the prix fixe menu so we got a sampling of a lot of dishes.
We started with the cauliflower bites and pretzel bites. The cauliflower was good, still had a little crunch, and not soaked in sauce. The pretzels were better, with a beer cheese dip. These were generous portions for appetizers. With all the food we got we couldn’t finish them.
I had a cheeseburger slider and my wife had a slider version of a hotdog. Both were good, but the hotdog stood out mostly because of the strong spicy mustard and novelty of the half-sized (not cut) bun.
My wife barely made it halfway through her nachos entree, even with my help. Loaded with lots of toppings. I had the Ultimate Chili Mac, which was outstanding. The “chili“ was more like braised short ribs and it ended up being the best item we tried. I shouldn’t have finished it all, but I did.
Wyatt is a legend. We’ve traveled from Australia and was seeking hospitality that reminded us of the friendliness we receive at home mixed with American charm. Here we got exactly that. We cannot fault this bar, whether food, drink or excellent service, Lefty’s has it all. We cannot thank Wyatt’s fantastic hospitality enough. Cannot recommend here enough! CHAMP
Lefty’s West End Tavern is one of our favorite spots in downtown Greenville! The bartenders are consistently outstanding—friendly, attentive, and they know how to make an excellent drink. Whether you’re ordering a classic cocktail or trying one of their specialties, the drinks are always on point.
The food is just as impressive. Everything we’ve had has been delicious, and the hot dog specials are absolutely worth trying. Great flavor and a fun twist that keeps us coming back.
The atmosphere is hard to beat. There are plenty of TVs throughout the restaurant, making it a perfect place to catch just about any sporting event. We also love the outdoor seating. You can sit right along Main Street and enjoy the downtown atmosphere, or relax in the outdoor area between the restaurant and Fluor Field, which is a fantastic spot on game days.
What really sets Lefty’s apart is that it’s not just a bar—it’s a great place for families too. There are activities to keep kids entertained, making it an easy place for everyone to enjoy.
If you’re looking for great food, outstanding drinks, excellent service, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere, Lefty’s Western Bar is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

I’ve been a regular at Lefty’s since they opened. Their happy hour is till 6pm and is amazing. I mean where else can you get a large plate of nachos and a sweet tea for less than $10 for dinner? Anyway, we went for brunch for the first time today and was not disappointed. My 3 year old initially took one look at the French toast casserole and announced she didn’t like it only to end up eating her weight in it once she realized we all were greatly enjoying it without her. We all got different version of biscuit breakfast sandwiches with sides that were all HUGE. Prices are great. Anybody been to Waffle House lately? Their breakfast sandwich with hashbrowns is $12. And don’t get me wrong I love Waffle House but I’ll take a $13 Lefty’s chicken, egg and cheese biscuit any day of the week over their breakfast sandwich.
