3*s because I’m averaging my two experiences Second meal at Indaco. The first one was great! The food was good, service was attentive. We did the tasting/chef menu, so we got to try a bit of everything and really enjoyed all the dishes, especially the pizza!) This time it was underwhelming. Service and food were SLOW (Thursday night) The pizza was basically a flatbread, had no chew to it at all (I don’t mind char on pizza, but this was just flat/thin and crispy) and the garlic chunks weren’t distributed at all so it was either a full bite of garlic or none at all. Caesar salad was fine, nothing to write home about, but I know there isn’t a lot you can do to a Caesar salad. Steak was good but with roasted potatoes and broccoli there was nothing tying the dish together - everything was very salty and required a lot of chewing. Broccoli was basically raw with some char on the edges. It needed some sort of glaze or sauce or do mashed potatoes, it was all just dry. Chicken parm had a hair in it. At this point we’re two hours in after ordering 5 minutes upon sitting down, so we got dessert to go. We did restaurant week, which is why we ordered three courses, otherwise I would have called it a day after the first course. Noted on the reservation that it was a birthday dinner, but they didn’t do anything with that information which isn’t a big deal, but I think that’s a missed opportunity for leveling up service if they are going to ask about occasion on the reservation. I think Indaco *can* be good, as it was when we first visited, but I don’t think I’ll be returning. For the price point that it is, I don’t want a 50/50 chance that it’ll be a good experience.

Walked in and wasn’t sure because the hostess was not friendly! HOWEVER, the experience quickly turned around with our drinks and food for brunch. Absolutely delicious food and great drinks!!! We sat outside and it was a bit hot, but the chef was willing to do a fresh fruit side piece and it kept my young kids happy and entertained while mom and dad enjoyed their drinks. Will def be back!

Came here for my birthday with my husband, newborn, toddler and in laws. It was my first time leaving the house since having my baby and I was excited mostly to have an Aperol spritz. I was also excited to see that they had an excellent kids menu for my toddler and crayons for her to play with. Unfortunately, we did not get a very warm waitress. I’m not sure if perhaps she was having a bad day but we felt like a burden to her and it kind of ruined the experience. The ambiance was fantastic and food was fine. I got the Caesar salad and rigatoni bolognese. Everyone else got pizza. The outside looked vibey, but not sure that I’ll be returning here.

Unfortunately, it took forever to get our food. My wife is gluten-free and she got the chicken and it was supposed to come with four different vegetables which only came with one. I had a rigatoni, which is excellent, but it is very small portion. It seems as though compared to the other times we’ve been here. Their portions are much smaller. Later that evening, when we got home, my wife had an upset stomach, so apparently her meal had gluten in it, which made her sick. Highly doubt if we’d come back here again.
