  Racial Discrimination / Uncomfortable Shopping Experience This is a decent location; however, as a Black woman, I would not recommend this location based on my experience. During my visit, two associates, Jaz and Bri Waters, made my shopping experience extremely uncomfortable. I came to this location because it is conveniently located near my workplace. When I initially entered the dairy aisle, Jaz suddenly appeared while seemingly attempting to determine where a misplaced item belonged. Although I was not alone in the aisle, I became uncomfortable because I felt as though I was being watched or treated with suspicion while shopping. As I proceeded to the checkout area, Bri Waters, who had initially been working at the self-checkout lanes, conveniently became available when it was my turn in line and proceeded to assist with bagging my items. Given the interaction I had already experienced in the store, this further contributed to my perception that I was being singled out and monitored. I cannot speak to the associates’ intentions, but the manner in which I was treated made me feel targeted and uncomfortable, and I believe the circumstances warrant investigation for potential racial bias or discriminatory treatment. I will be filing a formal complaint and request that this incident be reviewed appropriately.

  In most ways thrift store is like any other Food Lion. Though it appears to me to be a bit cleaner and definitely better organized. And the hot buffet,which features a variety of different buffalo wings, kielbasa, excellent macaroni and cheese, and St Louis. Beef ribs which are to die for. The ribs are juicy, thick, and covered in tasty barbecue sauce.

  We left our chicken in the store by accident and couldn't come back to get it. Spoke with a couple managers about getting it. Come the next day to get it and the chicken is gone. We were told we had to pay the difference. After much talking and realizing lines were crossed somewhere, Bri Waters came up with a solution to appease everyone. She was very professional and actually listened. Bravo Bri!!!!!

  I cannot say enough good things about theo and ken!! they were amazing and provided excellent customer service when checking me out! it’s not everyday that you see kindness from the store workers but i really appreciate everything they did to help me today!! keep up the amazing work!!
