- JDJack Downie3 days ago2.0Keep in mind, this review is based on my experience at this CFA vs the CFA standards they’ve set. It’s still a step above any other fast food model in the market. It took me about 8 minutes waiting next to the register to get two soft serve ice cream cones. I understand the lunch rush, I understand they’re busy, but they didn’t even take action until I said something to the staff. Not only were there multiple employees standing around acting without a sense of urgency but what surprised me more was the lack of smiles or recognition of customer wait times. The food was being handed off like a transaction. A name was called, the food was handed to them, no smile on the employees face, no “thank you for being patient”, and I certainly didn’t hear the classic “my pleasure”. This isn’t the first time I’ve been dissapointed by the service at Pelham over the last 5 years or so. I don’t live on this side of town. Maybe im spoiled by my CFA in Cherrydale with good service. It’s just worth speaking up when behaviors seem like habits.

I watched as several employees who looked older than the 17 year old struggling of the register walked by and didn’t help or offer to help the poor kid. Tried to just sit and order on the app after giving up on the line, and the app was not functioning and we had to get back in the line. Ugh. The trash was overflowing from all the cans in the restaurant and some of the tables were dirty. Not the experience I am accustomed to with Chick-fil-a.

The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and goes above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and the community they serve. One of my favorite things about this location is all of the community events they put on throughout the year. They do a wonderful job creating fun experiences for families and making everyone feel included. Whether I'm dining in, attending an event, or going through the drive-thru, the service is always fast and efficient. I highly recommend Chick-fil-A Pelham Rd for great food, outstanding hospitality, and a team that truly invests in its community!

I asked the employee if I could park and go inside to pick up my order, and she said yes. I went inside and waited, but no one came to assist me for five minutes. I asked for help, but even after stating my name five times, the employee kept saying she didn't understand me. After waiting a total of 22 minutes, I left, furious. I called the restaurant to explain what happened; they showed absolutely no concern for my order or the long wait. They put me on hold for three minutes, then simply told me my order was ready to be picked up—without a shred of respect or an apology. I ended up late for work, missed my breakfast, and was charged $14.17. I really love this restaurant and only eat there, but today they let me down and really frustrated me; this was the worst experience.
