  Went to have dinner at The independent, everything was phenomenal! Sierra and Natasha took such good care of us. The food and drinks were great! I had a siren song cocktail, so yummy! The crab dip, corn bread, pork chop with Chimichurri, Brussels, and corn were my top favorites. And then we ended the night with a hummingbird cake. We had an amazing night.

  Wow. I did not know we could have such exceptional food and service in this area. On par with NYC in terms of quality and service. Emily and Izzy were so attentive, had great recommendations, and anticipated our needs before we even thought of them. The croissants were some of the best I've had in the US. Deviled eggs were spectacular, and they put the oysters on the side for my vegetarian friend. Mocktails were delicious, appreciate the non-alcoholic options. Brunch was amazing, so great for a girls day out!

  Had dinner here with my family everyone was extremely polite and very attentive. Our server Natasha did a great job and suggested the snapper. It’s was very beautifully played and tasted amazing. For dessert we had the crème brûlée and apple had pies they were both delicious thank you to the pastry chef Chelsea!

  Drue, Tina and Natasha and rest of team made such a lasting impression on us! Every second of our experience, from walking through the doors of the gorgeous hotel, to saying hello to the chefs in the open kitchen to sitting down and enjoying dinner was a real treat! The collard greens were some of the best I ever had. They were perfectly seasoned, cooked just right. The crab cakes were PHENOMENAL with a flavorful sauce and a unique take on a dish. As a chef, going out to eat is always a special occasion and something that I really look forward to. Cooking is an art and the chefs at the Independent are most definitely artists! Cheers to you all. We will back soon and might even have to stay at the hotel too. Indigo Road is such a fantastic group. Thank you for making the night special. It meant so much to us, and we are very grateful.

  I can’t recommend The Independent enough. The food is exceptional, but what truly sets this restaurant apart is the hospitality. The entire management team and staff were so warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making our experience special. They are incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and took the time to guide us through our selections, helping us put together the perfect meal. We never once felt rushed or overlooked. (Shoutout to Drue, Tina and Natasha!) We left with full hearts, full bellies, and big smiles on our faces. The Independent is the kind of restaurant that reminds you how special dining out can be, and we’ll absolutely be back.
