- SBSondra Bare3 days ago1.0Visiting Surfside beach. Went to Krispy Kreme on Friday and the sign on the door said “no icing till 4pm”. So we ordered some other donuts. They were so old and stale!! We went back on Sunday morning and this sign was on the door! This is a donut shop right? How do you not have the basic staples to make the donuts!!

The hot and ready light means nothing to them. They’ll tell you that. They would not even let me redeem my birthday reward because…get this… they don’t sell a six count of donuts. 🤔 How do you sell them by the dozen, but not the half dozen? And you couldn’t just toss six donuts in a bag? Frustrating. I keep trying the place bc it’s the most convenient location, but every time I leave there unimpressed.

I changed my order to iced coffee and the cashier still had to check if I could order that instead. She may have been new. 🤷♀️ There were no original glazed donuts when we went about 9am. Maybe those are an afternoon treat. I don't think I saw one employee smile. I hope their days got better.
