  It's an interesting layout, but they definitely use every inch of the space they have to keep a much more well stocked location than you might expect. That's also why I took a star off though. It gets really cramped really easy. There are many areas where you can't go two wide and the checkout gets into the isles easily. Overall it's a great spot, especially in such a quiet area, but it's not perfect...and that's OK.

  This place is horrible. I was in the middle of an instacart order with only a couple items left to go. I had arrived way before the store was set to close. I got kicked out before finishing my order. Also, laughed at by one of the employees. This place needs better management.

  What a fantastic Food Lion! And it's good thing it is, as there's really no other option. But who needs it when you have this one? Good service, good selection. The store may be small, but it just isn't piled full of stuff you don't need. What they do have is what you DO need, and reasonably priced too. Edisto Island Food Lion? Recommend. (but who's naming their breakfast cereals? That's what I really want to know.)

  Not a lot of options in town as far as groceries goes and they have a limited stock compared to larger well known chains in the bigger cities, but the small town vibes and helpful staff is perfect for this location. They have the necessities for most peoples needs.

  Despite this being the only game in town on a beach miles away from the nearest big box store, they charge reasonable prices, and have a little of everything. The store is a bit cramped, but it is fairly easy to navigate. Staff is friendly and welcoming to their beach guests.
