Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    Cashier was not really interested in listening to order, although he acted like he heard it all. We were face to face and I think he looked at us once. Probably why we received the WRONG order and didn't realize until we were at the hotel. The patty melt we received (not ours) was good. With the amount of fries given (also a plus) we need more than 1 pack of ketchup please.

    We arrived with a group of 14 students on a Thursday night (holiday weekend) around 8:45 pm. Seeing that the location was busy and we were on a tight schedule we decided to leave. Prior to loading the van Ashley the General Manager came out and inquired why we were leaving. When we explained our reasons she assured us that she could accommodate our needs. She and her team did just that!! She personally arranged tables for us and Ziyonna and the rest of the team took our orders. The food was served hot and timely. They went out of their way to ensure that we had a great experience. In this day and time it is difficult to find great service in the fast food industry. This team was the exception. Ashley is to be commended for the great service and example of servant leadership she provided to us and her team.

    The staff were incredible. Better than chick fil a. We have three kids and they were beyond kind to them despite them being toddlers and messy (and yes we try to clean up as much as possible after them) but it felt like the service was truly beyond what you would expect at any quick eatery. Will 100% return to this specific one, we’ve always loved Whataburgers in Florida but this one was truly one of a kind because of their staff.

    Your food is great but your service time is poor. We don't go to Whataburger to wait an hour on food. Management, please consider training for efficiency. This hasn't been an isolated experience. Carolina Whataburger wait time is dismal.

    I was at the Whataburger location, and I haven't been here in a while and this is why...the wait, with no sense of urgency, with no recognition "Hey, someone will be right with you". It got so bad before that I started placing my orders online, just to come in a still have to wait almost like they didn't even begin cooking my food until ai arrived. Today, I gave them another try and ai walked in and waited...6 minutes with about 3-4 employees walking by me...NOBODY SAID ANYTHING, not even hello. There was another customer and I asked her if she ordered, and she said she had to end up ordering on the kiosk because nobody greeted her either and that she'd been waiting 15 minutes before that and just decided to do it. This isn't fast food, and it's quite unacceptable, and it makes me feel like I'm at a restaurant that just doesn't care. Can something PLEASE be done about this??? Who's the manager?? Are they managing themselves?? This is bad. I leave reviews almost everywhere I go, whether they are good or bad is up to the establishment and the people they have employed there.
