  Today I went to smashburger to order my usual meal from the drive thru and noticed there were signs to order thru the app or go inside. No problem. I go inside and I’m met by Skylah. She takes my order with a little bit of an attitude not a problem. All the kids talk that way these days. I order three singles originally and double back on my order to Make one of the singles a double. She assured me she couldn’t change it but would let the kitchen know. I apologized and thanked her. Now we are waiting and watching ppl after us receive food. Up until now it was going in order. I ask what’s taking so long and she says fries but that didn’t make sense considering they were receiving fries. Instead of apologizing and just making sure I received my food. She argues me that I only ordered 2 burgers. My receipt literally had 3. She catches attitude tells the guy who was about to make it not to. And none of the staff were prompt in making sure it was right. The most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had here and if this is day 3. It should be day zero!

  ⭐️ 1 STAR — Absolutely Ridiculous Experience I just waited over 8 minutes in the drive-thru line at Smashburger, only to sit at the intercom for another 5+ minutes with absolutely NO ONE taking my order. Because there’s a curb beside the drive-thru, you can’t even leave the line once you’re stuck in it. So I’m basically trapped. Eventually I hear the static come on like someone is about to speak… and then NOTHING. I say hello? repeatedly over the course of several minutes. Still nothing. At that point, I pull up to the window thinking maybe the intercom is broken. Nope. There are several employees inside walking around, and some of them actually LOOK at me, but apparently walking to the window to help a customer was too much to ask. So I sat there, completely ignored, after already wasting over 15 minutes of my time. If your drive-thru isn’t functioning, maybe tell the customers instead of trapping them in line and pretending they don’t exist. This was some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced in a fast-food drive-thru. Smashburger: 0/10. I won’t be wasting my time here again.

  I read one of the other reviews and we had a very similar negative experience with a woman working the drive through that appeared to be a manager. Rude from the start. I ordered 2 meals, both with Diet Coke and when she repeated the drink she said Coke? And I said no, Diet Coke. She didn’t acknowledge it at all and I knew the drinks were going to be wrong. We waited a very long time and when she opened the window she didn’t say a word other than the amount due. When I took the drinks I asked if they were both diet and she said yes and shut the window. We drove away and of coarse one of them was not diet. I went back through and told her one was not diet, she said yes it is. I assured her it was not and she told me she would get me another one but it’s going to taste the same. She then closed the window and threw the incorrect drink across the room into the garbage. Never got an apology or any kind of decency. She was very obviously pissed and wanted to argue that the drink was right. If this is her daily attitude when working, she may need to find a different job. Aside from the incredibly rude woman, the fries tasted like the oil needed changed or something. Had a funky taste. And the price for 2 small burger meals was wild. Over $30 for a small burger, stale fries, and the wrong drink from the rudest person! We know now that we won’t ever go back.

  Hello, I am reporting an experience I had today because I don’t want anyone else to have a similar experience. While placing my order, I asked for my fries to be cooked fresh. Initially, it seemed like the employee was ignoring me, but I realized the drive-thru speaker was malfunctioning. I waited approximately 3–4 minutes while trying to confirm that she had heard my request. She then responded in a frustrated and rude tone, stating that she had already told me four times that the fries would be cooked fresh. When I arrived at the window, her demeanor continued to be unfriendly, and she barely acknowledged me. The interaction made me so uncomfortable that I considered requesting a refund because I was concerned about how my food might be handled. I ultimately decided to accept the order. I am reporting this because no customer should be made to feel uncomfortable or treated disrespectfully simply for placing an order and making a reasonable request. I understand that the malfunctioning speaker may have contributed to the confusion, but the way the situation was handled was unnecessary and made for a very unpleasant experience.

  Avoid this location smashburger sandhill, Fraudulent "policies, broken drinks, and hostile staff I Used to come to this Smashburger all the time, but after today, never again. I ordered two burgers, two fries, and two drinks. The total came out to over $42, which is already steep for fast-casual food, but the service made it completely unacceptable. When I went to apply my military discount and handed over my official military ID, the employee (a Black woman with dreads and glasses) flat-out refused it. She claimed that they "no longer take military IDs" and that you have to actually be wearing your uniform to get the discount. Forcing service members to be in full uniform just to grab a burger is ridiculous, completely made up, and directly contradicts Smashburger's actual corporate policy which explicitly states valid ID or uniform is acceptable. To make matters worse, the fountain drinks tasted like straight water. When I asked to swap the broken drink for a milkshake, she immediately caught an attitude and started arguing with me. After wasting time going back and forth, she suddenly decided she could just refund the drink and charge for the milk shake something a competent, properly trained employee would have suggested right away without the hostility. Paying premium prices for watered-down drinks, getting hounded by power-tripping staff, and being denied an earned discount over a fake uniform rule is a joke. Management needs to retrain their staff on basic customer service and their own company guidelines. Save your money and go somewhere that actually respects military personnel.
