After being seated an hour past our reservation time, by hostesses complaining out loud about having to be at work, we were not served for another half hour after being seated. Then we were served incorrectly cooked food - then told “oh sorry” with a shrug when it was pointed out that it was not correct - no offer to fix their mistake or anything. One drink refill in the nearly two hours we sat there. The bathrooms and the hallway that leads to them smelled like sewage, truly a horrible horrible sulfuric, waste-like smell. Men’s bathroom had actual feces on the floor. Unsure how they’re fine ignoring that smell, never mind the fact that is in an establishment where they serve people food! We paid $130 for a meal shared by two people and a child’s meal, no alcohol or additional sides. Outrageous pricing for a place that smells like a portapotty and apparently doesn’t care when they serve people incorrect food they’re paying so much for. I will say - we had a waiter, who was nearly completely absent til it came to the end of our meal, but during our meal three separate waiters came to help us as ours was missing most of the meal. These three waiters seemed to be the only people in the building aside from the bartender who were really working, and working hard at that. They moved from their own tables to several others helping as they were called by each of them, despite having their own tables to attend to. They kept their own tables cared for and the others. I wish I could have tipped them directly because they seemed to truly be doing and enjoying their jobs, were polite and friendly, and didn’t seem to mind bringing us the things we needed. Neveeerrr would I recommend this place to anyone ever again. Satos has truly gone downhill and they don’t seem to care either.

The atmosphere was electric very beautiful! The food phenomenonal with fresh ingredients and favorful! The chef on point. I ordered the shrimp and ribeye cook to perfection. The soup and salad with ginger dressing was very refreshing. The cost is reasonable. Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable. Thanks for all you do!

My husband & I have been dining here since 2017, was actually one of our first dates. Ms. Kim is always polite and greets us. Mr. Oz (I call him) at the sushi bar makes the best rolls, Beltline roll was eaten. But whoever made this plate gave the most beautiful presentation. I know the Hibachi guy that reminds us of they guy from “The Hangover” movie is always entertaining, we brought our hole family that took up two tables back in January. It’s a great spot, no need to dress up too fancy, but I’d like to see it get a “facelift” or remodel. Or first get rid of the carpet. I know the plumbing on Beltline has its smell from Casa Linda, to JR Cash down to SATO & that could be the City’s fault. I usually try to avoid the bathrooms in all 3 locations. Not the businesses fault. We enjoy SATO & will be back ❤️
