I went to this Food Lion on Harden St to pick up a birthday cake, I actually went there the day before and the young man told me to come back the next day and the young lady will put the name on my cake. When I went back apparently Anna in the bakery was getting ready to leave. I asked her if she can please put my name on my cake. She got so angry, she was banging and slamming things behind the counter, she asked me rudely how to spell my name, she gave me back my cake and did not even look at me, I thanked her politely, she walked away. Only to realize when I got home, she spelled my name wrong Cooroline with a big quotation mark! when it's Carolyn, very rude and disrespectful.I work in the health field.I do not treat people like this no matter what. Every year I spend my birthday alone, this put a damper on everything. My favorite Food Lion is on Fairfield , Kisha is the best manager.

I went to get a money order and because of how much it was, they didn’t feel like doing it. The nice young lady made sure I could do the money order and she was about to, then some dude said that he can’t do it, how it goes from they could do it to , no they can’t, the dude clearly didn’t want to do his job, I didn’t get his name, but most definitely when I go back I’ll point him out.

It's a grocery store. You might not understand this, but coming from NYC, where stores like this are closing left and right, cherish this. When a place like this closes down, the entire area will suffer. This place has what you'd expect from these types of stores. Fresh produce, meats, and even roto roasted chicken. The prices are a bit eye-opening as it's about the same as New York prices, but maybe that's due to the college in the area. Still, support your local area grocery stores! It's important. There's nothing else around, and you'll become a food desert.
