  My one star rating has nothing to do with my one star rating. I really like shopping at the Food Lion and enjoyed and appreciated the convenience of the mobile app today while shopping at the Food Lion I owned the FL app to see if a product was on sale only to see the dreaded “update required”. Unfortunately my phone is an iPhone 7 which works as good as new. For some reason all the apps on my phone are requiring an update, but also requires an iso of 17 to be able to update. So, I guess Food Lion is in the same category as the other apps by expecting customers to run out and buy a new phone just to use their app. Sorry, but no thank you. Even when I just go to the website on my phone it won’t let me shop on line which is ridiculous. All these apps are doing a disservice to customers with older functioning phones. It’s very apparent that either the companies themselves or the app developers don’t care much about some of their customers.

  This is the third time now that they have tricked me into a pricing that was falsely advertise, they advertise one price and they charge you something completely different most of the times, almost double. We have a Food Lion membership and we use it all the time and still don’t get the prices that they promise us for the membership. Example: This was advertised 2 for $4 which is the only reason why I got two. But look at my receipt. I am very upset as this is the 3rd time now that this has happened in only a month and a half. The economy isn’t getting any better and yet stores like this are false advertising.
