  I happened to be on this side of Columbia and stopped. A Very Clean store vs... the 5 points store. I'll travel further for a Clean environment

  Foodlion disappointed me,as a customer, yet again. Stopped by to buy a few things and proceeded to the cashier at register 1 approximately 3:35 pm 06/13/26. Picked up a cold drink that was clearly advertised as 2 for 5.00. It rang up at the incorrect price. This happens lots at this location. The prices rarely match what the price tag advertises. I asked the lady at register 1 if she could please have someone check the price for me. This seemed to make her upset. She told me she or no one can check the price for me. I decided not to purchase anything. Business's such as Foodlion exist BECAUSE, of customers, NOT, in spite of them. This must be a very mismanaged store, if this is acceptable behavior from staff. Wal Mart will get all my grocery business from now on.

  This grocery store has good weekly sales as posted in their weekly flyer. They have a very good, user friendly rewards (MVP) program that they email you to load in which you earn points for purchasing specific categories of products at a certain dollar amount, such as household paper products. After you spend that amount, they load money to your MVP account. They also have digital coupons that you clip to add to your MVP account. I often walk through every aisle, because they often have markdowns that aren't advertised and heavily discounted closeout prices for products that will be discontinued. I ALWAYS save money by strategically buying MVP sale items and leveraging the rewards and digital coupons. My only caveat is that during busy times, they do not have enough cashiers, and there are long lines at self-checkout.
