Some people may have had a decent experience and got to take advantage of it, but from what I saw in the Irmo SC area, as well as what I'm reading about other locations, it was a chaotic, disorganized mess: people placing online orders only to find out that between placing the order and picking up the food, the restaurant had "run out of meat" (as I kept hearing the staff say again and again last night). HOARDS of people were descending upon the location I went to on Columbiana Drive, shoulder to shoulder in there, with one employee trying to yell out names above all the chatter and grumbling—(and butchering most of those names)—then, giving up if someone didn't respond within a few seconds. People were lined up out the door—NOT for food, ultimately, but to get a REFUND. And yet 20+ bags of supposedly unclaimed food were just sitting above the line that the employees were giving away at the end of the night (many belonging to people who had been there, given up, and left)... After waiting almost 1.5 hours when the restaurant finally closed, I got HALF my food, and the other half was apparently given away to someone else. GUYS — *seriously*... You have *got* to do better than this! Don't do the promo if it's going to be carried out this way, because in the long run, you'll LOSE more customers than you'll gain. Sorry, but because of my experience last night, I will NOT be returning to a Five Guys, whether you're doing a promo or not.

I wish I caught their names but the 2 ladies were fantastic... one had a whole stack or orders going through them letting people know their order was on the way anothwr took the time to step out and talk to a family that couldn't wait about a refund... the smaller black lady was organizing the kitchen really well... and we did get our order and it was fresh hot and made correctly!! I was so impressed! It was a show and everyone for the most part were patient and friendly! Definitely will come back and encourage everyone to!!! Great team great food! Working their butts off! They deserve a raise or a bonus in these times!

The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, give those leftover fries a try as hash browns, home fries, or even as the filling in an omelet.
