  This used to be my favorite grocery store in the area. It's really gone downhill fast in the past year. Its not just the constant construction, but the messiness. Employees leave stock carts and buggies full of trash blocking aisles. New employees have no regard for customers, they stand around talking and blocking movement, they cut off customers. The new self pay area is scrutinized like no other food lion I've ever been to- even the ones in bad parts of Charlotte. Clover is a nice town. I think this store must be under new management from somewhere else. Around town people say nobody goes here anymore.

  Vegetables were great! Installing/repairing new egg/milk refrigerator units. MOST employees were trying hard to accommodate customers needing dairy products by going to the back to get what was wanted. Thank you for that.

  Staff is super nicee! They are always helpful! The only thing I have to complain about is nothing is stocked. The whole store seems like its a mess since they started renovating it. There never anyway produce. Just seems like they dont care if they stock the shelves or not. So we have to go somewhere else to het groceries.

  Since their renovation; I have trouble selecting my nuts (Planters roasted nuts) because the bread delivery trays are blocking the isle, preventing me from finding or even seeing them, those trays without wheels I couldn't even move! Just to pick a product I wanted and I am a morning shopper - I don't like afternoon or evening shopping.
