Food was great. We ordered several calzones, lasagna, and a pizza, and everyone was pleased with their food.
However, the signs advertising happy hour were very misleading. They mention “$2 pints,” and the bottom of the sign even says “try our draft beers,” which led me and my friends to believe that the draft beers were $2. When we received the bill, we were told that only two of the draft beers were $2 and everything else was simply $1 off.
The service was also pretty slow throughout the meal, and our waitress was not very friendly and seemed to do the bare minimum. I also waited about 20 minutes for a margarita, only to be told that “the bar somehow didn’t receive the ticket.”
As a college student who has worked in the food industry and tries to budget, I would have really appreciated someone explaining the happy hour special when we ordered. Instead, we were surprised to see $35–$40+ bills at the end of the meal.
Again, the food itself was great, and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Unfortunately, the slow service, lack of attentiveness, and unclear communication about the specials took away from what could have been a much better experience.

The restaurant smelled decisions! However we were told the wait on a Sunday afternoon for 4 people would thirty minutes. Ended up waiting over an hour and 45 minutes. When we were finally seated it took another 45 minutes for our food to arrive. Had to ask for silverware multiple times after that

Came here during Parent’s Weekend and it was very busy. The food was well worth the wait. In my experience, if you go somewhere in Clemson on a game weekend and they aren’t busy, you should go somewhere else. Order the meatballs and garlic knots… they do not disappoint and come out really fast. Will be back later this season.
Order two calzones and a cookie through doordash. None of the boxes were sealed whatsoever. This leaves it open to tampering from drivers which commonly happens. They simply do not care about the safety or health of their customers orders. Literally all it takes is getting stickers, which I'm pretty sure doordash will provide to restaurants if asked

We went to Joe’s as one of the first restaurants we ate at after moving to the area. What a cool atmosphere. The kids loved the food, the garlic knots are softball sized and delicious, and the pizza and pasta really hits the spot. Easily going to become a staple for our family.
