  We were greeted as soon as we walked in. We had a gentleman come over and said he was our server. He took our drink orders and left. Another gentleman came and asked if our order was taken or if we had a server in which case we told him that we did he said OK and left. A third person comes over and says I’m gonna be your server and I asked him if we have to replace our drink orders and he said we did have to replace our drink orders and so we had to wait an extraordinarily long time for our alcohol. Overall reviews seem to be pretty good however, it did not live up to what we were expecting. We will probably give them another try.

  our server Mario was very nice and courteous but service could have been better.. otherwise the pizza itself was very bland and overpriced. the wings were way undercooked and the atmosphere is very "trendy". it even sounded like one of the speakers were blown out. I would not recommend this spot for pizza at all 🫤

  Kim was the BEST BEST BEST server. The best biscuits I’ve ever had . They have cafe du monde grade beignets. Corn beef hash? IMMACULATE. Literally will take the one hour flight from Florida to here just for this restaurant alone . Charleston this is your gem brunch restaurant . CHEERS **hibiscus kimosa clink **

  We stopped at Toasted Crust while visiting Charleston because my daughter wanted pizza and the reviews looked good. The food was fine. Not memorable, but not bad either. Service was scattered. The tables were sticky, everything took a while, and they got our order wrong on a cheese pizza. Our server was pleasant enough but hard to find when we needed something as basic as napkins or a refill. I do not usually review a place that lands in the middle, so none of that would have brought me here. Here is what did. I photograph my signed receipt after I pay. When the charge posted to my card, the amount was higher than the total I signed for. Not by much, but more than I authorized, and that is on top of the 3% credit card surcharge they add. I called my card company and they are refunding the difference. The dollar amount is not the point. I tipped more than the service earned and I would have let all of it go. Charging a total different from the one I signed is a separate matter. If you go, and the food is decent enough that you might, take a picture of your signed receipt before you leave. Do it everywhere.

  I seriously had to leave a review after tonight! We’ve been here a few times before and it could be hit or miss, but WOW this  place has a whole new energy now. AND A HAPPY HOUR? That one girl was everywhere  running food, helping tables, behind the bar perfecting cocktails, checking on guests, and still keeping her entire team moving. You can tell there’s new management and it SHOWS. The staff was upbeat, the place was lively, and the whole atmosphere finally feels like what you want from a night out on King Street. The food has always been great, but now the vibe matches it. My husband and I already said we’re coming back without the kids 😂 Calling it now — this is about to be one of the go-to spots on King. Get in before everyone else figures it out!
