  The service was good but it’s a cramped space. I didn’t get a picture of the beignets themselves but I would rate them a 5/10. The flavor was good but they were hard and very crispy and not fluffy at all. The jam they came with was a 10/10 though. The crab and shrimp omelette was good. It would be better with more cheese because it was a little dry so maybe add extra cheese if ordering. The chicken tenders were big and nicely flavored. A little dry but still good. The grits were also good. I like mine a little creamier but overall would rate the entire experience a 7 out of 10. Oh and if you get a flavored mimosa make sure to ask them to stir in the syrup so it doesn’t sit at the bottom. We ordered a carafe of the Peach Bellini and it was champagne until we got to the bottom and that’s where all the syrup was. And parking wasn’t the easiest to find on a busy Sunday brunch time so you may have to walk a distance or drive around for a bit to find street parking. There was a lot close by but it was $30

  Kim was absolutely amazing! Super friendly, reliable and brought our food with no problems and gave us what we wanted! Even helped accommodated us with our special requests! Best girl ever!!

  Kim had great energy and was super knowledgeable about the menu. The Chicken on the chicken and waffles was a bit overcooked but Kim made up for it with her great attitude! Great atmosphere too.

  Our server Kim was a breath of fresh air! Funny, super helpful, attentive and from Jersey like me! I had a stressful morning getting here and she really put a positive spin on kick starting the rest of the afternoon! Next time you’re looking for a brunch spot in Charleston, stop by Toast and ask for Kim!!! 😎

  Kim was amazing!! She was so sweet, welcoming, and made our experience at Toast on King Street even better. She was super attentive and took great care of us the whole time. Definitely ask for Kim if you’re here!!
