  Candy selection is amazing. I went after the chocolate ice cream, made on-site. Absolutely delicious, I'll be back for more.

  I normally love going to sweets shops like this, however this River Street Sweets location truly disappointed me. I have been several times in the past few months as a Charleston native, and not had any problems until recently. The manager Amber was overly pushy about spending more money during my most recent walk on King St., and it honestly made me and my friends uncomfortable. On top of this, the manager also told off employees where customers could see and hear, right behind the register. To add insult to injury, the ice cream we purchased was completely rock solid and our pralines tasted burnt. I will not be back, and I do not recommend.

  This place is awesome! Best ice cream I’ve ever had! Amber is also amazing. Love her! Highly recommend this place over Kilwins.

  River Street Sweets did not disappoint! We tried the Bear Claw and Chocolate ice cream, and both were absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding the staff was attentive, friendly and efficient. Beyond the ice cream, they had an incredible selection of sweets, candy, fudge, and chocolates. The perfect sweet treat while strolling down King Street on a hot Charleston summer day. If you're looking for a place to satisfy your sweet tooth, this spot is definitely worth a visit!
