Located on Charleston’s historic Broad Street, Oak Steakhouse is a classic American steakhouse. A classic array of both wet and dry aged Certified Angus® Beef are featured on the menu. Ingredients are sourced locally and regionally from sustainable farmers and fisherman to accent the steakhouse menu. Items including local oysters on the half-shell, Clammer Dave’s caper clams and a daily fresh fish selection depending on the season. Other popular dishes include the whole fried lobster, goat.sheep.cow artisanal cheese plate, wedge of Kurios Farms bibb lettuce salad, the house-made pasta and vegetarian plate. The expansive and impressive wine program at Oak Steakhouse emphasizes big California Cabernets and Old World reds from Italy and Bordeaux with more than 200 wines by the bottle and 20 wines by the glass. The bar attracts a loyal, local following from nearby businesses and neighborhoods with its great cocktails and happy hour. Inside a historic bank building that dates back to 1848, Oak’s stately setting features three floors with five distinct dining areas. Arched windows, 20-foot ceilings, original metal work, fireplaces and 150-year-old heart pine floors, offers the perfect setting for enjoying a special evening.

    Such an amazing dinner tonight at the Oak!! We had great cocktails and wines at the bar while waiting for our table with the best bartenders. We had the most amazing steak dinner plus appetizers and sides. We can’t wait to go back.

    It's a steakhouse better than average... but our server was phenomenal. I wish I remembered his name because he found my wallet that I left on the table and made sure it got back to me. 3rd floor.. late night..7/23

    I mean it’s aight, we went for our anniversary and it was ALRIGHT. Drinks were good, truffle fries were gas but the steak was meh, I didn’t taste any dry age and to be honest I think dry age might be a gimmick at this point tbh. But if you wanna ball out and spend some money for some okay food go here otherwise there are better places. Like I said it’s aight. (Server was fantastic, great dude made it just that much more enjoyable)

    The ambiance was great. Our waiter was great. The appetizers were great as were the sides. Our steak was horrible, however. We split a 20 ounce prime choice ribeye. It was so fatty that we really couldn't even eat it. At $125.00, that was a real disappointment for what was supposed to be an excellent steakhouse

    The food was great and the service was amazing! The bread and crab cake were amazing! The entrees were also amazing but I got too excited and ate it before taking a picture. 10/10 recommend
