  Probably the worst food lion I've been in, but the deals are fine. My biggest gripes are the wait times for checkout and the ice cream freezer. Oftentimes there will be long lines of customers and only two cash registers opened. I had 2 items and waited 15 minutes to get checked out. There were other employees in the store but none were manning the checkout lanes. The ice cream freezer on the other hand is almost always frozen over. The part with Breyers is always a mess, and sometimes you can't even get some of the flavors out because they're encased in ice. Obviously it's affecting the flavor because they often taste completely freezer burnt.

  Either need self check out or more cashiers. Having to wait 20 minutes to check out for one item is unacceptable. Then they finally open another lane and take everyone behind me; baffling. This store makes the savings of shopping here not worth it.

  The cashier was very rude her name is India.when I let her know I have my own. She said that she was already putting my groceries in brown bags .then I told her I had gifts cards she madea sucking noise.

  I Was with my sister in the store, and one of the people at register one, witch was closed, was laughing at us and talking about what I was wearing and that I was white and ugly and probably stealing i looked so poor- I was using a reusable bag. I never wanted to leave so fast in my life, talking about my clothes (blue shirt and pants) but not my sister who is mixed. They were African American, the one saying everything had black curly hair and black glasses the others just laughed with her, about 4-5 employes just goofing off. And werent even being quite about it. It was humiliating. I used to be a manager of a foodlion in north Carolina, so I know that is unacceptable behavior and I am going going to make a proper complaint- unfortunately I didnt get her name- I just wanted to leave, my son has just died and we still had to go to the store- sorry if I didn't look the best but that was ridiculous, everyone coukd hear them and everyone looked over. I believe she herself may have been a manager. I am unsure.
