Location is convenient if you live downtown especially if you need to grab a few things. Good variety on the shelves but produce selection is lacking and a lot of produce is wilted or over ripe. Prices are competitive. What makes the store a bad experience is the customer service. Horrible!. It’s like all of the female employees dont want to be there. Nobody looks you in the eye. Nobody smiles. If you walk up to a register you sometimes get a dirty look (why you bothering me) or they grumble that they are not working. Just this last visit, I was in a long line waiting to check out. A employee grabbed a customer from behind me (very friendly to her and talked as if they knew each other). I followed behind to the opening up register and the cashier yells, “I’m going on break.” I then had to go back to the long line but now in last place. Finally going thru check out and that cashier is grumbling the whole time that she wants a break and customers keep getting in her line even though her light is off. I know each of these employees would expect a different attitude if they were a patient in my clinic. How would they each feel if I looked at them like they were bothering me when I walk into the exam room?. Is common courtesy a thing of the past? This is Why I do my major shopping at HT or Publix or even piggly wiggly. At least the employees act like they want to be there. At least I’m not bothering anyone.
