  This is one of the worst food lions I have ever experienced. The quality of produce, to meats, to the center store is awful. Completely empty nothing in produce everything is moldy. They can never keep employees at this place long enough due to the unprofessionalism of this store. I've had past experience where I came into this store discussing with the older black woman in self checkout about bad pork i had bought. She told me if i threw out meat they werent going to do anything for me...which all I wanted was to be able to grab more pork to replace it, which I had receipt for. She was so unprofessional i was laughed at for not realizing it was old before i put in freezer. As i went to leave the store after grabbing something quick in store. Went to speak with the older woman in self checkout again as I was checking myself out and she then proceeded to scream and yell at me to not speak with her, to the point another associate stepped in front of her to avoid her from possibly hitting me as she was coming towards me yelling. She kept yelling being disgusting and at the end as I went to leave saying it was awful customer service she was smiling being condescending telling me to have a wonderful day as I walked out of store. I called foodlion to discuss situation and make complaint. Was told I would recieve call from store manager within day or two to discuss and make sure I was taken care of. Well a week went by and no call. I called foodlion back telling them I never received call, they discussed how it was unexeptable and they made a report and I should have already received call days prior. All of sudden after we got off phone and they emailed a corporate head. Then all of a sudden the store manager called me 20 mins later. Was told I'd recieve store gift card for my bad situation and it would be taken care of. That woman that works at the self checkout was never fired or reprimanded. To have a worker that almost fought a customer was screaming and coming at customer should have been automatic fire. Yet here we are. I have completely steered away from this company which is sad as I was a consistent customer for years. Never go to this store or foodlion. Awful company!!

  At approximately 9:50 a.m. this Saturday morning, I was scanning items at the U scan and I've been here quite often the black woman who I have seen before and if I noticed her name tag I would report it she screaming sir you didn't pay for the wine.! I was paying for the food items with a different card and then I paid for the wine and as I scanned it that's when she yelled out in front of everyone standing around now I am a white man Food Lion there is zero Toleration from this minority she acts like white people or thieves I couldn't care less about Food Lion

  Super friendly staff every time I walk in. Greets me, laughs with me, always says have a nice day. Prices and selections are also good.
