  This is my grocery store. I shop here every week. I don’t know what was going on this morning but the store was not open on time, several employees and shoppers waiting after 7am. When we get in and go to check out there is no money at the only open register. Unusually unprofessional.

  I just have to say GG was super lovely and nice. Just popped in to grab some milk, very short interaction, but she was sweet and made my day.

  The staff have their moments of being helpful from time to time. I noticed a pattern of condescending and passive aggression among the older white women. Most of the black women, with exception of two are neutral and not problematic. It appears that the younger staff across the board are consistently friendly, helpful, and efficient and just do their job, regardless of race or perceived status. The meat department has its disgusting moments, but overall seen improvement. I could do without the slime and leaking meat juice that gets all over your hands. That seems like a biohazard not very sanitary, at least keep paper towels, and hand sanitizer near by. I typically avoid certain cashiers or just go to another store. If I’m desperate I’ll wait for a better cashier to become available. You should not have to dread grocery shopping, and go out of your way to avoid petty cashiers. Also it’s not my problem if you can’t lift 6 packs, or certain items. I’m more than willing to help, but I’m taking all items out the cart. If you can’t do the job, don’t take your shortcomings out on customers. Create procedures to work with the elderly workers, but also protect the customers. I pretty much avoid Camden food lion, lugoff is 100% better.

  Didn't realize we had another Food Lion so close to us. Seems, we are always going to the CVS in Dusty Bend.
