    How do you give zero stars?? I think most people go to smoothie cafés to get fruit and food that seems at least decently healthy with natural sugars and I just learned today that they put a giant scoop of sugar in every smoothie that they make I’ve never heard of such a thing of all the smoothie places I’ve ever been. I’m livid. It should be if they’re going to do that. It should be on the menu as one of the ingredients because it was more sugar than all of the other fruit that was put in combined. Disgusting. Shame on them.

    I really enjoy Tropical Smoothie Cafe. In fact, I visit the Verdae location in Greenville, SC regularly, and it's outstanding. The staff there makes you feel welcome, the smoothies are excellent, and as the manager once told me, "It's not just a smoothie, it's an experience." I couldn't agree more. Unfortunately, the Bluffton location has been the exact opposite, and after three separate visits over roughly the last year, I've had enough. **Visit #1:** Around 8:30 p.m., with the store closing at 9:00 p.m., I walked in to order dinner. An employee simply stared at me without greeting me or asking if I needed help. After an awkward silence, I said I'd like to place an order. The employee rolled her eyes. I said, "You close at 9. You don't want to take the order. I get it," and I walked out. I decided to give the store another chance. **Visit #2:** I was the only customer in the restaurant. Employees were sweeping, cleaning blenders, and doing closing tasks while completely ignoring me. After standing there for about 15 minutes without even being acknowledged, I finally asked if I could place my order because I was in a hurry. I was told, "Yeah, in a minute." Six or seven more minutes passed before anyone finally took my order. I waited roughly 23 minutes just to place an order while being the only customer in the store. When I finally received my smoothie, it was disappointing. I still believed maybe I had just caught them on bad days. **Visit #3 (July 4):** Around 3:00 p.m., I walked in again. Once again, I was the only customer. One employee slowly swept the floor while another carried blenders back and forth. I said hello. No one responded. Both walked past me multiple times without acknowledging I was standing there. Eventually one of them looked surprised that I was still waiting. At that point I expressed my frustration and left. At first I honestly wondered if I was somehow the problem. Then I started reading the recent Google reviews and realized many other customers describe the same experience. That tells me this isn't an isolated incident—it's a pattern. I've spent over 40 years in management, and this location has a management problem. Whether it's training, accountability, staffing, or attitude, something is clearly broken. Read the recent reviews. The feedback is remarkably consistent. What I don't understand is why, on July 4th—when nearby businesses had lines out the door for cold drinks and treats—this store sat nearly empty while employees ignored the customers who actually came inside. The Greenville Verdae location sells an experience. The Bluffton location destroys it. I told the employees I intended to contact corporate, and this review is the first step. If you enjoy Tropical Smoothie elsewhere, don't assume you'll have the same experience here. If I post a bad review, it must be an Awful experience. Three visits were enough for me. I won't be back.

    I got a delivery order and then did not add any sugar in it. I've had this exact drink before and I don't know if someone put the wrong sticker on it or what but it tastes completely different and like complete crap.
