When I say this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had, I truly mean it.
To make matters worse, less than 24 hours later, I am extremely sick. This was the only meal I ate that day, and my stomach has been paying the price ever since.
I do want to acknowledge that the restaurant appeared to be severely understaffed. From what I observed, there were only two servers, one bartender, and several managers or members of leadership on the floor. I understand staffing challenges happen, but being short-staffed does not excuse poor service, poor attitudes, or poor food safety practices.
Our experience started before we even received our food. We were initially seated at a table where there was food and trash all over the floor. We asked to be moved and were seated at another table, but that table was so uneven that it rocked significantly. When we asked if anything could be done, the hostess appeared frustrated, returned with coasters, and handed them to me to place under the table myself. When that didn't solve the problem, we were eventually moved to a third table where we finally had dinner.
I will say our waitress was pleasant and seemed to be doing the best she could under the circumstances. Unfortunately, many of the other staff members appeared overwhelmed, and that frustration was being taken out on customers. As someone who has worked in customer service for over 15 years, I understand stressful shifts, but professionalism should never disappear because a restaurant is busy.
The biggest concern was food safety.
I ordered a steak, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. Before ordering, I informed our server that my husband has a pork allergy, making it clear there was an allergy concern at our table. To management's credit, they personally brought out my husband's burger and assured us precautions had been been taken to prevent cross-contamination.
However, when my food arrived, I immediately noticed bacon bits on my plate. On top of that, the mashed potatoes I ordered never arrived at all. So while everyone else was eating their full meal, I was left eating just steak and broccoli.
When I brought the bacon issue to the manager's attention, I wasn't looking for compensation. I simply wanted to explain how serious the situation was. The manager told me the bacon had likely fallen from my grandmother's plate onto mine because the plates were next to each other.
What was disappointing was how casually this was explained, as if it wasn't a major concern.
My point was simple: what if I had a pork allergy and never mentioned it because I ordered steak, mashed potatoes, and broccoli, items that don't normally contain pork? This could have ended very differently. Customers should not have to worry about allergens being transferred from someone else's plate.
The food quality itself was also disappointing. My grandfather had to send back his potato soup because it was so salty it was nearly inedible. My grandmother had to send back her steak because she ordered it medium-well and it arrived medium.
Food safety isn't optional. Safety begins with accountability, and accountability starts with management. Instead of acknowledging the seriousness of the issue, excuses were made for why it happened.
This review isn't intended to get anyone fired or ruin anyone's career. I'm intentionally not naming anyone. However, this experience was frustrating enough that I felt compelled to take time out of my day to write about it. My hope is that management takes this as an opportunity to improve customer service, food quality, cleanliness, and food safety procedures before someone with a severe allergy is seriously affected.
Between being seated at dirty tables, having to move multiple times, receiving incomplete orders, witnessing food quality issues, experiencing food safety concerns, dealing with dismissive management responses, and now being sick afterward, I cannot recommend this location. The one bright spot was our waitress, who remained kind and professional despite the chaos around her.

Once and always was my favorite restaurant of ALL OUTBACKS, not so much right now. On Tuesday past, 06/02/26 , went with a post graduation dinner party of 14 at this site. Seating was immediate, no wait , great. I noted from the beginning the server was new - not a problem. The issues were, I ordered a wedge salad and a NY Strip steak as did another member of our party. The service was slow but the party was large so not an issue. We arrived at the site at 7:40PM, waited approximately 20 minutes for drinks mostly sweet tea, - requested was sweet, but all were unsweetened m which had to be replaced.
The Issue really was the wedge salad. Instead of saying they were out they produced one really delicious looking WEDGE salad and it wasn’t mine. My salad looked pretty, but a wedge it was not, which I informed the server. She said it was and left upon returning after ten minutes of me steering at this bed of decorated lettuce. At this time she asks if I would like another, I responded yes. She removed my salad plate only to return the same salad now sitting above a bed of plain iceberg lettuce, sans dressing. The manager was requested and finally arrived with apologies for several issues my salad was not one of them, it was too late . My remaining order was packed an d ready to go. It was poor management, and maybe a lack of servers either way it was a bad experience for me.
