We decided to try That Flippin Egg. We hoped for the best but was disappointed. Service was good, can't see ever going back. Food not so much, atmosphere horrible. Everybody was talking as loud as they could plus the music was so loud. Some music is for bars and some music is appropriate for restaurant's at a lower volume. We paid $55.89 this included a tip. We've never paid that much for breakfast in our entire life.

The food was not bad. It has been better in the past so I'd say it is hit and miss. The service is always great though. And, the coffee is always hot which I can't complain about.

I’ve wanted to try this place for a while and we finally did it. Went on a Friday morning about 10AM and were seated without waiting. The place looked clean and everyone was friendly. I found the food prices to be high and the food itself to be mediocre at best. I ordered my eggs over medium and they came over easy. Not a huge deal, but when you go out to eat you expect the food to be cooked as you requested. Either they didn’t understand the difference between over medium and over easy or the cook doesn’t know how to cook eggs. Also, we ordered 2 teas and 1 coffee and for the drinks alone it was $10. I find that extremely high. All totaled with tax our bill was $38 and change for two breakfasts, the coffee and teas. One breakfast was $13.99 and the other was $11.99. We didn’t get anything g extraordinary. We both got 2 eggs, sausage, I got toast and bacon, my husband got grits and a biscuit. With tip it was $45 for breakfast. I don’t mind paying that if the food was spectacular, but it wasn’t. The sausage was overcooked and my eggs were not cooked correctly. The toast was cold and dry. My husband said the biscuit was really good and I have to agree. It was delicious. But the rest of the meal was sub-par. We probably won’t be back.
