  I saw this little cafe while researching a trip to Mt. Hood, and I decided I had to stop in The Dalles to try it. It is a converted gorgeous little church, so it has a lot of quirky personality and a lovely courtyard. I had the salmon eggs benedict, which was delicious, with perfectly poached eggs. My husband had the waffles, which he said was decent (I thought they were a bit plain, no whipped cream or toppings, just butter and syrup). I had to take stars off because they don't have enough staff, and everyone there is clearly stressed and over-worked. It took about 40 minutes for us to get our food, and the place didn't even have half of its tables full. All-in-all, I don't regret stopping here, but I probably won't be back.

  My favorite place to get a coffee! The coffee beans have a wonderful flavor and they have homemade syrups!
