Golden fried chicken brushed with house made hot honey sauce, layered with slaw, red onions, and fresh sliced jalapenos served on a sesame bun. This one has a kick!
Delicious food! The French toast is huge and so tasty. Cute atmosphere as well.

I came from Washington State for one day and my daughter decided to have a breakfast and coffee at the Riv Cafe. It's a unique little cafe with lots of charm. We were sitting outside enjoying a lox bagel and a cappuccino. The food was delicious and so was the cappuccino. Service was very good and fast as well.
I will be going back to the Riv Cafe the next time I'm in The Dalles.

Great coffee and breakfast, and very kind staff. Fun building too! Definitely coming back next time I’m in the area.

The avocado toast with Lox and egg was amazing. The coffee was amazing too.
Great pet friendly outdoor seating and large tables for big groups inside.

Went in for a coffee, we got the honey latte I believe it was called. It was really good. Ended up spending $20 for 2 coffees with $2 tip. Definitely more expensive than other coffee spots in the area. Price aside , the cashier wasn't welcoming. I would've considered returning but paying more and poor customer service, I wouldn't go out of my way to come back.
