  Horrible customer service, will never go to that place . I went to buy bagels and coffee but the way they were treating us inside , I just got the coffee and left this place right away. The cashier do not know how to great customer. They need training on how to treat customers. I really had a bad experience today .

  Racial discrimination and bad customer service, felt that I was treated differently because of my race. The service I received was noticeably different from how other customers were treated. I felt disrespected and uncomfortable, and “I believe everyone should receive the same level of service regardless of their race.” If you’re a person of color, this place may not be for you. We arrived before other customers, but the staff served wt customers who arrived after us before serving us. I felt ignored and treated differently,What’s even more concerning is that other customers have also left reviews describing similar treatment toward people of color. Very disappointing experience.

  As our first time in NY, it is easily the best bagel anyone in our group has ever had. We ate it every morning we were here on vacation! Today is our last day in New York, and we'll be sure to come back soon. Thanks for everything!!

  I’ve always had a great experience at this bagel shop, which is why today’s experience was so disappointing. I came in to purchase a dozen bagels, butter, and cream cheese for the kids in our youth program. I spoke with the staff and then with Kelly, a male attendant who I initially believed was part of management, about processing our organization’s tax-exempt form. Unfortunately, I was told they could not accept or process the tax exemption because only Josh, who I’m assuming is the owner, has the authority to approve it. This was frustrating because we were simply trying to purchase breakfast for our kids today and had the proper tax-exempt documentation available. If staff members are going to be left in charge, they should either be properly trained and authorized to handle situations like this or have a clear process for getting approval when the owner isn’t available. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences here before today, so I’m disappointed to leave this rating. I am absolutely willing to change my review if the owner addresses the issue and makes sure staff are better prepared to handle tax-exempt purchases in the future.
