  The seafood was average. It was to me more breading than seafood and it was quite expensive for what I got. I was really hoping that I would be impressed by this place because I've been wanting to try it for a very long time. I love eating seafood especially fish and chips and I would give this a 4 out of 10. Also it's a little confusing because it's coming and just sit down with no instruction and you order at the back. If there's no table service, I don't know why we would need to leave a tip

  The thin small piece of fish that was mostly skin and breading was the worst fried fish I ever had. For &20 w/tip was not worth it!

  It was my husbands birthday tonight so we decided to go to Smees. We had been here maybe 3 other times before. We don’t go often because it is rather pricey, but the fish was very good every other time. This time we were very disappointed. We shared a 4 piece meal , which is normally just enough for both of us. Normally the fish are big pieces and beautiful. Tonight they came out thin and curled up , like they were the very ends of the fillet. So thin that there was hardly any meat mostly batter. It wouldn’t have been so bad but all 4 of them were like that. I told my husband we will give them one more try and if it’s the same I won’t be going back. Sorry to say this but it’s not cheap to eat there and I work hard for my money and we were very disappointed.

  We have been at the place 3 times, and 3 times it has closed way earlier than it says. So we haven’t got to try the food. So it has been a waste of time trying to eat here. I rate this place a waste of time. Especially when we come from out of town to enjoy places.

  Awesome food. High Quality. Fresh. Not the cheap stuff. Enjoyed the chat as well. Tried a variety of Oysters. Everytime we have been it's impressive and fun. My Son's have had a blast each time left smiling. Hopefully more locations. Downtown a bit more for a Romantic dinner atmosphere and she loves it but if Quality is the point, won't find better in Northern Nevada. Met the owner was super cool chatting with the boy's about his fishing boats and Alaska. Thanks for everything, you folk's are the best. Won't regret it, only leave thinking: if everything is this good, wonder how the other things are? Can't wait to go again!
