  We live in St Charles county, but come to Washington about 3 -4 times per year. We always come here. Love the atmosphere, food, and the staff!

  We walked in and asked for a table for 2. She said inside or out ? We said outside and she proceeded to tell us .. oh.. we don’t have a 2 top outside you’ll have to sit inside. She proceeded to take us to a 4 top. I said how is this different than a 4 top that I could see available outside? She said outside is in more demand. They were not busy at all. The inside is so small and VERY LOUD!!! We left. That is the 2nd time we have had a seating issue there. We won’t be patronizing Marquarts again!!

  Every single time I come here it’s painfully slow, and every excuse is that the kitchen is short staffed. At this point it’s clearly just how they operate. This was my last visit. I honestly could have driven to St. Louis, had dinner, and made it back home in less time.

  Food was good if made right. Two years ago I came here and ordered an entree and side salad with dressing. It took an hour for my entree to arrive and my side salad arrived 20 minutes after. The salad came with no dressing. Today, I arrived with my friends and placed an order for food. The food took an hour to arrive and not everyone received their order at the same time. Around the hour mark, one person received a burger. 10 minutes after two received their order and 7 minutes after that the next party in our group received their order. Summary: keep your expectations low and hope not more than 5 tables are occupied in the restaurant. Service sucks and food will arrive when the next employee clocks in.

  I tried a little bit of everything and it was amazing! Great patio seating and fresh made food. Service was great too!
