Welp, this Panera succeeded at ONE thing, and that is ensuring that I probably go to Panera again....definitely this location. I know its been generally going downhill but this was bad. Immediately upon walking into this location you can tell they don't want people actually eating inside. There's barely any tables and it's just an open, desolate box. Panera's (or I should say St. Louis Bread Co) whole deal was a cozy sit down place...this was as inviting as the AT&T store nextdoor.
Ordered broccoli cheddar soup and I can only guess that the manager of this location is trying to save a buck by watering down the soup. You can actually see it separating. I've been eating at Bread Co for probably 25 years, and never had soup like this. Funny thing is, they didn't give me a spoon in my bag (which by the way - no trays for dine-in) but it didn't matter because I didn't eat the soup anyway.
Also, $4 for a small soda...no thanks.

Probably my least favorite Bread Co experience ever.
The dining room is clearly not designed for people to stay and eat. It was clean, but it’s an unwelcoming environment compared to a typical Bread Co with comfy chairs and fireplaces.
We ordered our food to dine in and got it in a to go bag. It doesn’t seem like they even offer dine in.
I ordered a Mediterranean Veggie sandwich, the few ingredients were all paper thin. I felt like I just had bread and that’s it.
The blackberry hibiscus tea was obviously watered down.
If they’re offering a watered down version of a bread co they need to lower the prices. Part of eating at a Bread Co is ambience and here there is none. You feel like you’re eating in the kitchen.
My husband’s broccoli cheddar soup was also severely watered down and there were no spoons.
I’ll definitely not be going back to this location.

Service is really slow. Ordered a caprese sandwich, received what looked like just bread. Nothing like what the picture Panera shows. They were out of tomatoes, black bean soup as well. Probably not visiting again.

I have experienced repeated service issues at this location, and unfortunately, this is not the first time I have been disappointed by the level of professionalism and customer service.
First, employees frequently park their personal vehicles in front of the exit driveway, creating unnecessary obstacles for customers entering, exiting, or attempting to park in designated spaces. On one occasion, I respectfully suggested to an associate that they ask their colleagues to move their vehicles. My concern was completely disregarded.
Second, during my most recent visit, I waited at the drive-thru speaker for more than ten minutes to pick up an online order. When I arrived at the pickup window, I observed several employees standing together and socializing. Despite this, I was left waiting additional time at the window without any explanation. When I requested to speak with a manager, an employee approached the window but did not identify herself. Rather than addressing my concerns professionally, she responded with a dismissive and unprofessional attitude.
As a long-time Panera customer since the company first began serving the St. Louis area, I find these experiences particularly disappointing. Effective customer service requires professionalism, clear communication, and respect for customers' time. When delays or issues arise, employees should demonstrate empathy and provide a courteous explanation rather than ignoring customer concerns.
I hope management takes these matters seriously and provides the necessary training and oversight to improve customer service standards at this location. The experiences I have had here do not reflect the quality of service I have come to expect from Panera.
Overall, this has been one of the most disappointing experiences I have had at any Panera location.
I went to Panera earlier this morning around 10:05 am and I will tell you this was the worst experience I have ever had coming to this location! My grandma and I decided to go to the drive thru when we first arrived and everything was fine. When we pulled up to place the order, a young girl by the name of Samaya, took our order. (She is the one this poor review is about). Once we pulled up to the last window to get the food, my grandma asked Samaya for our receipt and Samaya rudely closed the door without giving my grandma any response. After two minutes of waiting at the window, Samaya opened up the window and stated “I cannot give you a receipt”, my grandma then asked why and Samaya rolled her eyes and said “because I already closed my drawer so I can’t.” My grandma then politely asked her if next time could she please ask if a guest wanted their receipt first before just not giving it to them at all and Samaya rolled her eyes again. My grandma then asked Samaya if she could get the number to corporate to make a formal complaint and Samaya just looked at us as if we were dumb. My grandma asked again what was corporates number and Samaya rolled her eyes YET AGAIN and said “I don’t know you can just look it up and call them”. ( I get very defensive when I see someone disrespecting my grandmother IN MY FACE) so I peeked over and asked Samaya who did she think she was talking to and informed her she was being very disrespectful. She then pointed at my grandma and said “so you telling me I’m rude because she talking to me crazy?” Two of her female coworkers then came to the window listening in on the interaction and one jumped in letting us know she would try to help us out with a receipt. Samaya rudely closed the window on us while we were talking to her coworker then a guy (who I think may have been the manager) opens the window up and asks what was going on. As we try to explain, he apologizes and informs us he is not able to hand over a receipt due to the drawer being closed out already. WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED TO BEGIN WITH IF WE WERE TOLD THIS IN THE BEGINNING!!!!!! And might I add, as the guy talks to us through the window, Samaya and her two female coworkers are yelling and cursing at me and my grandma through the window. But anywho, as we were pulling off, I told the guy (who seemed to be the manager) that he needed to re teach his employees professionalism and how to talk to people and told him that Samaya was very disrespectful and that if she ever talked to my grandma or I like that again, we would have a problem. When we pulled out of the drive thru line to leave and go home, we heard yelling and screaming. We look over, Samaya, and her two female coworkers who were at the window were outside yelling and making threats to me and my grandma. Samaya was outside of panera with her hands up yelling across the parking lot screaming saying “SLAP WHO” “SLAP WHO” WHO YOU GONNA SLAP” “DO IT” “DO IT”. My grandma and I felt very unsafe at that point but still drove off and decided not to entertain the childish, immature behavior of the employees. This was pathetic and a very unpleasant experience and we will be going to corporate. (Could not get a picture of Samaya because she ran and hid behind the window when my grandma went back in to get pictures of all employees involved. But Samaya is between 5’3-5’4, darkskin, and has long red braids)
