  It's Friday. I have ordered 3 hours in advance. My order was canceled (and credited) because they don't have a delivery driver. I didn't get a phone call from the business number, instead I received a text "hello this is jimmy johns, sorry to inform you we do not have a delivery driver at the moment. our 3rd party system only works sometimes and i don’t want to risk you having to wait over a hour for your food:( i will cancel it in our system and it will get refunded to your card sorry for the inconvenience." After letting them know I ordered it for 9p, and that it could come earlier or later, and why I wanted it and couldn't pick it up, I get this text "i'm so sorry we will not have a delivery driver at all to deliver it, i completely understand and wish i could help:( " I already have a credit for a hair being in my sandwich last week when I ordered. AlI I wanted was the gargantuan for my teen kid. I planned to order it for my teen kid because it's their birthday, and they have been begging me to buy one since they found out about it. Not tonight, kid! *Unfortunately, I am unable to go pick it up due to breaking my right fibula at my ankle last week. Otherwise, I would have definitely gone and gotten it. I guess I'll order pizza. Yay.

  I placed and order through the app. and somehow with no pressure messed it up. I got the gumption to go into the shop DURING THEIR LUNCH RUSH, so ask for a modification to my order. Not only did one of their members stop what he was in the middle of to flag my ticket, we had a great discussion about horseradish sauce and how under utilized it is. Their kindness, speed, and delicious sandwich deserves all the praise.

  Jimmy Johns has been open in Union for about 10 years., and I've always ordered delivery. They are pleasant and friendly when talking with them on the phone. The food arrives quickly, looks appealing, and is tasty. They pay close attention to special requests such as no lettuce, extra mustard, or add onions. ​ In ten years of delivery, there have only been two goof ups. The first, a coke was delivered instead of an unsweetened tea. Within 5 minutes after calling, the manager himself deliverd an unsweetened tea. The second, a bag of chips was left out if my order. After calling, two (if I remember correctly) bags of chips were delivered immediately. Not a bad track record for 10 years of service. This has to be the best sandwich shop operating in the Union/Washington area.
