Killer roast beef sandwiches since 1967. The recipe for our famous roast beef sandwich is simple: 100% real top round beef. Slow roasted on-site for three hours. Shaved extra thin. Served medium rare on a lightly toasted buttered bun. And topped with a dash of secret seasoning. It’s the same way we’ve done it for over 50 years. Voted Best Fries by St. Louis Magazine.

Why….Why do people choose to argue. I asked for a baked potato with cheese and stated I wanted extra cheese of both of the liquid and of the shredded. When I got my 2 potatoes they had the standard amounts of cheese. So I asked them if they could put extra cheese on it to which they responded. There is extra cheese on it. But the cheese and the extra cheese are both the liquid and the shredded wasn’t even coming down the side of the potato, it wasn’t to the edge of the skin on top of the potato and so I asked for more cheese and they argued with me about the cheese. But my goodness if I ask for extra cheese and I don’t have enough cheese. and I asked for more just put more on there. If you wanna charge me more fine charge me more. I made the statement multiple times that I want so much cheese that it is overflowing the potato. I said I want the potatoes soaked in cheese. If that means I spent $20 for a potato because I spent $15 in extra cheese that’s my prerogative. It’s your job to make sure that it’s made the way I asked. Without arguing. It’s pretty simple. But instead, your drive-through line time was exceedingly long and every employee that you had on shift was there listening to the argument about how much cheese I want on my potato. The whole experience has left a bad experience.

A St. Louis staple, yes, but they are riding their reputation at this point. Some things are still quality ingredients but sloppily assembled and good luck getting what you ordered. Other items they've changed to cheaper bread or are just a wet mess. I typically use the drive-thru so I allow for some quality degradation given drive time, but things have truly spiraled downhill. I've tried multiple locations; the standards are just no longer there. The place is a shadow of its former self.

I love Lion Choice. I no longer live near one anymore, so I stopped by the one close to my mother's house. The store was clean the food was fast and delicious as usual. Most importantly the young man working the front counter was so polite and curteous, Rod S. is the name on my ticket. He deserves a raise or some type of appreciation. It is not too often you come across a young man with such great manners and hospitality. His parents should be proud of him.

Haven’t been to Lions Choice in years and i must say, i don’t know why i haven’t. The food was made hot and fresh which is not normal anymore when you go to a fast food place, especially when they don’t seem busy, but that’s not the case here, it was FRESH. Next, i want to notice Kayla, she was so polite and quick, which again, not a normal thing when you go anywhere anymore. I didn’t eat inside but from what i saw the lobby looked clean. Prices are a bit high but i think thats everywhere and nothing they can control. Overall if i could give more than 5 stars, i would. Definitely got a new/returning customer out of me at this location

I have been coming here since high school in the early 80’s. My favorite place. But not any more. I don’t know what changed by it is a totally different place than it’s been the past 40 yrs. Has to be new owners. My past 5-6 visits have been terrible. Wrong orders, sometimes cold and not steamed. No cheese wharf I asked for cheese. Asked for sauces at the drive through. Got to my job to eat, nothing. Not even a napkin. The last two times going inside was an extremely long wait. One girl came back up and bought an ice cream cone. After maybe 10 mins, she left. When they called her name later, I took him she left and he replied “Oh well”. The slicer is disgusting, some employees in dirty personal clothes. I have to ask them to take my phone number for my rewards. The fries are not the same. I don’t even order them any more. It’s like they are old and are all soggy. This place has took a dive. I will frequent the other locations. They’re still good. Like Steak & Shake, some places are good and some should close down. So disappointed bc this is my go to.
