- TITruth Inc.Sep 19, 20262.0Teenage Wasteland: We've ordered quite a bit of food over the past month here through the app. Unfortunately, a third of the orders weren't done properly. With issues ranging from something as simple as cutting the sandwich in half, when it's been requested in the app, to getting the wrong sandwich entirely. We typically try to order in off hours to ensure food quality and nearly every time we pick up the order, it's mostly all teens and they are mostly consumed by their phones. I'm talking about them literally sitting on the cash wrap next to the register, even sometimes with their back to the store entrance, or even people sitting on one of the prep tables. One person will nod their head and say the obligatory greeting, and then quickly their attention goes back to the phone. No one is rude, but that's not the point. It's about professionalism and the customer experience. And, for the record, I wouldn't care about any of that as long as our orders were made correctly. This is not the Jimmy John's standard and someone in that management team needs to be trained again, and then they need to retrain their staff. This isn't rocket science. It's sandwich making.
