Went to The Fountain on Locust with my friends and the vibe was actually so cute and cozy. The place has this old-school aesthetic that feels super chill for pics and late night dessert runs. Their ice cream martinis were honestly the best part lol, really good and fun to try. Food was decent too, just took a little longer than expected and it got kinda loud when it got busy. But overall it was still a fun experience and I’d definitely come back for dessert and the vibes.

Walked over from The Fox for dinner after a show. Nowhere on the website does it mention the kitchen closing early. Decided to stay to eat ice cream. We were seated and every member of the wait staff walked by the table, not offering any service. After 15 minutes we left.

Beware: kitchen closes early. Only dessert and drinks at 10pm. Went for the small ice cream cones, but couldn’t get anyone to wait on us, despite waiting for 15 minutes. Very disappointed.

Food was great. Honestly the ability to reserve tables would be great to avoid having to wait on site. I was told there would be a 45 min wait (it ended up being less than that thankfully) but tbh 45 min wait is normally where I start to walk. Weird to have a $80 bill for 2 and no option to even reserve.

I really wanted to give The Foundry on Locust a full 5 stars because the food and the atmosphere are absolutely top-tier. While we had a small issue with one of our sandwiches, the overall experience was still very good and well worth the visit! The building itself is stunning—they’ve done an incredible job with the industrial-chic decor. More importantly, the food was delicious. Every bite was full of flavor, and you can tell the kitchen takes real pride in what they send out. Whatever you do, save room for dessert! It was the absolute highlight of the meal and truly "outstanding." It’s worth the trip just for the sweet finish alone. We did have one sandwich get messed up, and we were still charged for it on the final bill, which was a bit of a bummer. However, because the rest of the meal was so high-quality, it didn't ruin the night. A little more attention to service recovery would make this place a perfect 10/10! 4 stars! A beautiful spot with some of the best flavors in town. I’ll definitely be back (especially for that dessert).
