  I recently visited Pan D’ Olive Restaurant to celebrate my mother's birthday. The food was excellent, and the service throughout the meal was ok. Even though the server kept on forgetting things that we asked her to bring. She even got the desert order wrong bringing out coffee instead of tea. Our bill was several hundred dollars, and we left a tip calculated on the pre-tax amount of the bill. As we were leaving, however, our server ran after us and informed us that we had not tipped enough because the tip should have been based on the total bill, including taxes. The situation then became even more uncomfortable when several staff members approached and surrounded my sister, repeatedly insisting that it was the restaurant's policy to calculate tips on the total amount, including tax, and attempting to collect additional money. In order to avoid any more confrontation my sister did pay the additional amount. I have never experienced a fine dining establishment chasing customers over a few dollars in gratuity. While the food and service were good, the manner in which this situation was handled was extremely unprofessional and left a very negative impression. What should have been a special birthday celebration for my mother ended on an uncomfortable and embarrassing note. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will not be returning to this restaurant. Customer service extends beyond the meal itself, and the staff's actions after we paid were completely inappropriate.

  Beautiful restaurant with good food. Portions are not huge, but flavors and quality is very good. Very attentive staff and quick service. We will come here again.

  Great for happy hour and dinner! Armand is a top notch server. Will be going back for their delicious wine and food!

  Great food and great service. They are ontop of cleaning plates after each course, bring food out really quick, and even bring the dessert menu back at the end. Great place

  Our new GO-TO for happy hour. The staff is always courteous and professional. The atmosphere is perfect for any occassion but be careful, you'll have such a good time at happy hour, you might want to stay for dinner so plan to susi a few hours with some great food, great drinks & great company!
