  My experience at Mazaj Mediterranean was just okay. I got the chicken shawarma plate. The food took quite a while to arrive considering it wasn't that busy, and while the portions were reasonable, the flavours were lacking and didn’t really stand out. The pricing was fair, which was a positive, but overall the meal didn’t leave much of an impression. I was excited to try Golden Chicken so maybe that's why my expectations were high.

  There's a reason the food is served in a closed container. Because if you saw that, for instance, the Chicken Shawarma consisted only of yellow rice topped with shredded chicken and containers of cold sauce, you would protest the quality of your meal. It's a shame the owner is kept in the back room, he seemed to have a far kinder heart than the cashier who should really find a job not facing the public.
