I placed a delivery order from this Jimmy John’s today and, unfortunately, never received my food. After waiting over an hour, I called the store to report the issue. Since I still had not received my order and had already gone elsewhere to get food, I requested a full refund.
Unfortunately, the manager’s response was extremely disappointing. I was told that a refund was not an option and that my only choices were to have the order remade or receive store credit. What made the situation even more frustrating was the way the manager handled the conversation. Rather than speaking with me directly, she spoke through one of the employees, which came across as dismissive and disrespectful.
I understand that mistakes happen, especially with delivery orders, but the way a business handles a mistake matters just as much as the mistake itself. I was not asking for anything unreasonable. I simply wanted a refund for an order I never received.
There are plenty of other Jimmy John’s locations in the St. Louis area, and based on my experience today, I would recommend choosing another location. The customer service and management response at this particular location were extremely disappointing.

Ordered a sandwich, didn’t make it correct at ALL, then I called and told them about and they politely made me a new sandwich, so I get there to get it and guess what it’s still WRONG!! How hard can it be to read a piece of paper that specifically tells you what the customer wants added to there sandwich and still get it wrong…. ON A SANDWICH😂😂

I wanted a COLD sandwich because I was working out in the heat all day. I ordered an italian whatever. I saw the cook putting a sandwich in the oven. So I told her that I didn’t want mine toated. She blew me off. The customer immediately after me ordered the same sandwich toasted. When mine was done, she announced a toasted Italian whatever and he went to the counter to pick it up. The cook said No, that’s his sandwich (referring to me). I said I didn’t want mine toasted. Now, she could have just given that guy the sandwich he wanted and I could have had a cold one, or I could’ve gotten my money back. Instead, she just said, “Well, it comes that way.” Well, genius, you’re the one making the freakin sandwich. You could just choose NOT to put it in the damn oven. So, I left with the sandwich I didn’t want. And, I will never be back. I don’t trust people that stupid to prepare my food. P.S. The sandwich they gave me tasted like crap. Two bites (the second to make sure), and I threw it away.
