We ordered the butter paratha, samosa, tikka masala, lamb biryani and lime soda.
We did have to send our drinks back 3 times for having what looked like food in it. Our waitress was very kind and forgiving about the drinks. It did take awhile to get our drinks to begin with and when we checked out another lady was forgiving for the service. Still giving 4 stars as the food was very good!
Dined at about 4pm on Saturday, there were 2 other tables with people and a handful of DoorDash orders picked up
Great Indian food with authentic flavors and excellent service. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, making us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. Definitely recommend Golbowl for great food and hospitality!

I am a fan of Indian food. I have to say the first impression of "Samosa Chat", "Paneer Makhani," and "Chicken Biryani" I had at Gol Bowl was fabulous. The spice level was accurate as requested. The portion size was also decent. Our servers, Nikita and Aadarsh, were prompt and professional too. The restaurant and the restroom were pretty clean. I am definitely going back for Indian food there.
Go somewhere else to spend your money. Had to throw this food away. Even Trader Joe's has better Indian food, and that's not great.
The Ok...nothing.
The Bad:
- The butter chicken is Tikka Masala. straight up all cream and white meat. no butter. No peppers or onions. Absolutely Terrible...
- & it gets worse! The Lucknowi Chicken Kofta was all cream and rose water. Like a lot of it. . I've never had a dish that bad. Straight like Soap
- The Naan is a paratha. Completely different breads Gol Bol!!! It was gross with all the extra oil.
- We asked for more sauce, and they gave us 2 containers that were less than a quarter full. basically empty. Way to skimp Gol Bowl
- The Veg Pakoda has zero vegetables in it. It was only the fried dough, like a hush puppy. Not crispy bits with vegetable. Just Gross.
The food was pretty good but communication was not. We went in during lunch and were told that they're also doing the buffet. We got the menus and saw that there were also lunch specials so we decided to opt out of the buffet and order from the lunch specials instead. Well...we were very surprised when the bill came out to almost $60 for 2 dishes, an order of samosa, and an order of paratha. The price would have made sense if we weren't ordering from the lunch specials. We asked the server and he said if they had the buffet they wouldn't do the lunch special. Well...it would have been nice to be informed that ahead of time, and if they weren't doing lunch specials then they shouldn't have given us the menu for that. We didn't mind paying but I think they should have let us know if they were not doing the lunch specials. Also, they just scooped up food from the buffet line to serve us anyway.
