  Ordered delivery and while the portions seem reasonable , I was underwhelmed with everything other than the plain naan and samosas... The rice is even sad. The saag paneer tastes okay but honestly is reminding me of Italian creamed spinach ?? And the tofu tika masala is a very unpleasant color and texture... not yummy (reminds me of sweet and sour sauce packets w cream and the tofu seemed unaltered...) . The pork kimchi mandu didn't taste like much , kimchi doesn't come through (I needed to use the soy sauce they provided for more flavor ...). I was excited since door dash said it was #3 Indian in STL but I will not be ordering again 😞

  Dinner came from Everest because my mom loves Indian food, so the whole family got to enjoy an incredible spread. The flavors were rich and spicy! I love our take out dates. Everest is a husband wife duo serving up Korean, Nepalese and Indian cuisine. These are good people who use whole ingredients and provide health checks at the restaurant.

  Moving reviews to this profile and this one was originally published in 2015: I've been to their restaurant at least a half-dozen times but somehow have never written them a review. My most recent visit was with the ISC and I think we overwhelmed them a little. Note to others considering bringing a large group...plan to be very patient with the process, be sure you remember what you order and listen up when they start bringing out plates of food because they will have no idea who ordered what. I went for their mixed grill because I could not settle on what I wanted. Probably not the best choice as almost everything on the plate was a bit overcooked. All the flavors were right but I probably would have done better with something in a sauce because the right sauce can hide all sorts of culinary sins. I am definitely coming back again and will try to do a better job of understanding my surroundings so that I order better. I was also hugely distracted by the excellent company and conversation but that is a hazard of attending the ISC events - too many great people to chat with and not enough time.

  Food was excellent but the prices on the bill do not match the menu. We were overcharged on the drink, and I was served the wrong dish which was more expensive than the one I ordered (which didn't come out until the rest of the table was almost done with their food). When we asked about the incorrect bill, the waitress just shrugged and did not offer to correct it to match the menu/our order. On top of that, a 20% tip was already added to the bill, so that made it doubly sketchy since she was giving herself a bigger tip on our bigger bill. Shame because the food really was good, just no accountability by the wait staff.
