I’m a Black woman veteran, and my experience at Blarney Stone has not only be disappointing—it’s been frightening and degrading. I experienced immense racism and felt completely unsafe and unwelcome.
During my visit, a man I had never spoken to or interacted with threatened to put a car battery to my nose (septum piercing) while looking out the window past him. That kind of threat is unacceptable anywhere, especially in a business that should be responsible for its customers’ safety. I also heard a known customer yell racist remarks, including that Black people should “go back to Africa” and that Africans “don’t even like Black people.” Hearing this kind of open racism without meaningful intervention was horrifying.
It was also frustrating that, despite being a sports bar, Blarney Stone seemed willing to keep men’s sports on televisions even when only a few people were watching, while refusing to show an active WNBA playoff game that people specifically wanted to watch. Women’s sports deserve the same respect and visibility as men’s sports.
As per usual, I left feeling threatened, disrespected, and deeply disappointed. I hope management takes these allegations seriously: address racist harassment immediately, protect customers from threats, create a genuinely safe environment for black patrons and other marginalized guests, and stop treating women’s professional sports as an afterthought.
Hopefully this honest review doesn’t get me banned as at times I enjoy just kicking my feet up and having a drink.

This was my first time here. It's a sports bar with TV's to be seen regardless of where you sit. There's a covered patio with TVs too. I had the smash burger with mashed potatoes. It was great! Draft beer was super cold too. Will go back.

Great food, our server was friendly and very prompt. Good personality and I thought quite appealing to the eyes....but I'm a chicken shit and didn't pursue asking for her number because I figured she probably gets asked for it tons of times a week....lol
Oh and even though we sat inside by the front door they had a musician named Eric playing out on the patio that had a good vibe...will definitely return again sometime soon

Nyla is by far the worst server I have ever encountered. Even fast food places give better service than she did. She slammed the contained holding napkins, condiments and salt /pepper down and it ended up in front of my 2 yo grandson. We ordered an appetizer and asked for that and my grandson’s food to be served at the same time and then placed our orders. After a while she came out with my grandsons order. No conversation just slammed that down too. Walked away. We thought that she was going back to get our appetizer but no, she brought our food and said anything else? I nicely said um our appetizer? She walked away all pissy. My food was already cold but my daughter and grandsons were fine. A while later she came out with our appetizer. I told her I was irritated that we didn’t get our appetizer first. Her reply… did you want your food to be cold? I asked to have my appetizer placed on the table, and to speak to a manager. She had the nerve to walk away with my appetizer. Even when she came ack with the manager she refused to give me the appetizer until she was told to by the manager. I asked her 4-5 times to walk away. When the manager said just walk away, she finally did with a flip of her hand. She was so close to hitting me that her hand whiffed my hair. I use to live in the area and hadn’t been in a while. All I can say is it seems like they’re no longer very picky about their staff if someone like that can be employed there. I sent my food back
