Ordered through the app for pickup. The food was wrong and tasted awful. When I came back and asked for a refund, the staff told me to come back tomorrow. I said that was unacceptable, I have already spent an hour of my time driving back and forth trying to fix their mistake and I haven't even eaten dinner, and asked for a manager.
Before I even said a word on the phone he was hostile and dismissive and looking for excuses to not have to do his job. When the manager finally came in he was again hostile before I said a single word. He insulted me and my partner repeatedly. He complained about his job and his hours. He told us we were terrible people.
He refused to acknowledge that the store got my order wrong. No apology. Nothing. Just anger directed at customers who had a receipt and wrong food and wanted their money back.
Before I left I made sure to show him the incorrect food and he even tried to lie to me by looking at the receipt and wrongly stating it was correct. I told him I took a picture of the receipt and not to lie to me. Then I flipped the burrito over and showed the receipt still attached to the foil and confirmed again that the ingredients in the burrito didn't match the receipt. Still, he continued his belligerence.
He ended the interaction by banning us from all Qdoba locations permanently. I told him he didn't need to bother — he'd already made that decision for me.
I've never seen a manager so completely unequipped for the role. This wasn't a bad day. This was someone who has no business managing people. Someone so burned out that they have zero passion or self respect left. Zero sense of what customer service is, and an embarrassment to the Qdoba Corporate culture. Someone who has clearly gotten away with it for so long that they are so brazen as to insult people with valid complaints just because they were inconvencienced. Or is that what they teach their managers?
Corporate needs to know this location is a problem. See the previous reviews which I wish I had seen. I encourage them to listen to any audio they have of this situation. If this was an employee of mine, I'd fire them on the spot.
One star because zero isn't an option.
Edit: I went back and looked through the last year of reviews. How are the SAME people getting complaint after complaint against them for THAT long and still working here? This job economy is competitive. Why on earth would you tie your success to people who don't even slightly care about it? These same couple of people are going to run this store out of business.

The food was inedible and I had to fight like crazy to get a refund. Wasted my night dealing with this instead of having dinner and relaxing at the end of a long day. Never again Qdoba

I love Qdoba, but this particular establishment is terrible. Big dude with dreads acted like he couldn’t be bothered even though I was the only person in the place. Then when I was asking about different tastes of things he was said “Couldn’t tell ya, I don’t eat here”. I had to ask for a drink and wanted chips and queso but after I asked for the drink he added that on and walked off. I even had to tell him he didn’t press all the buttons so I could pay and leave.
