  The food and the service were excellent. Our server Alex was so attentive and truly a pleasure. No complaints, can't wait to come back.

  I went to Nonna's with my family and had a really bad experience with our server Alex. Our food took a little long to come out and he was being rude whenever we sent back a cold plate of food that we received. At this point, my family and I were being really understanding, thinking that it was a busy night and that they might be understaffed, giving him the benefit of the doubt. After paying for the check, I was discussing with my mom that the service wasn't the best tonight and that it took a while. Well, maybe I should've been kinder with my words, because our server, Alex, overheard me, and came back to our table to say, and I quote, "So you think you're a big guy?". I was really taken back from this comment, since I've never had a server talk like this to me, let alone if I even deserved it. He was looking at me really aggressively. I then calmly asked for his name, which then he responded, "Boss!", followed up with asking his last name, which he responded, "Boss!" yet again, in an aggressive tone. He then quickly walked to the back before I could ask to speak to a manager. Since I was just so blatantly disrespected by this guy, I walked to talk to another staff member about this. I talked to the manager, who I believe was named Jacob, that listened to my situation and told me Alex's name, since Alex only wanted me to remember him as "Boss". Maybe Alex was having a bad night, I don't know, but it there we're definitely better ways that a server, from a restaurant as nice as Nonna's, could've handled this rather than trying to start an altercation with me. This experience sadly doesn't make me want to eat at Nonna's again after coming there for years, since they would hire a server that would bring my food out by the time it was cold and act like he was going to fight me.

  Absolutely no notes, the best Italian restaurant I've visited in town; hell even when on vacation. Our server Jacob was the perfect fly on the wall, wonderfully attentive but not bothersome. Food took a while to come out with a full house but worth the wait. Cannot recommended this place enough!

  My wife and i just happen to find this place a couple weeks ago. We are from a lot larger population area, where we can get great itailan food almost in any direction we go. We moved to Missouri about 4 years ago and haven't found anything even close to being good. This is by far the best food i have had in Missouri to date.

  Not sure what happened to the quality of the food but it has significantly went down hill. Its apparent theres been changes in the kitchen. Ordered chicken Marsala and got served freezer burned chicken on my pick up order
