  Been coming to Springfield since 2011 and stay at the Doubletree. One night we’ll eat at Houlihan’s on each trip. Something happened, the level of food has diminished. Had the fish and chips, on the first night and out was soggy. Decided on the pot roast the second night and the flavor was way off. One bite seemed like it was a reheat from the night before and then the next bite had a burnt taste. Didn’t finish either meal. Hopefully this was a one off but seeing how empty the restaurant was at dinner I’m guessing they’ve slipped a bit and the words out with the locals.

  An overall chill spot with a decent menu, drink options and friendly staff. Our bartender Corrie was a very pleasant lady.

  Had an amazing experience here. The food was great and our server Jori was awesome aswell, she was super quick and attentive. We plan on coming back soon

  My heart is saddened, and my first experience at this location has left me with a sour taste in my mouth. Me and my husband came here to celebrate The conception of our first child together. We spent an hour searching Google for the best restaurant in Springfield- Houlihan was One of the top choices from the list and it just So happened that we’ve never eaten there before. We arrived about 3:30 PM on a Sunday afternoon. There were three tables seated, and everyone seemed to be enjoying the atmosphere At their table, we stood at the front entrance, waiting to be seated for at least 4 minutes. We legit counted down together, waiting for a server, or for a host to come greet us. Instead, we were stared at by the ppl Already seated at tables- as if we were the ones out of place and unwelcome. Upon leaving the restaurant, we decided to go right across the street to Apple bees. Although I truly enjoy Applebee’s, it just wasn’t what I had in mind for today’s celebration, but I am so grateful that we did choose to come here because as soon as my husband drew the door open, we were greeted by the host and seated within 15 seconds of our arrival. Proving, that GENUINE + QUALITY Customer service With any brand or establishment is The most valuable trait to a wholesome experience. POOR QUALITY “customer” service Like, what I just experienced during my first visit - could result in a permanent blemish to the credibility of said establishment.
