A lovely mahogany and marble bar formerly a San Francisco barber shop in the late 1800’s surrounds a 30,000 gallon saltwater aquarium overlooking the main dining room. The menu mirrors Papa’s appreciate of the great outdoors featuring signature dishes with duck, bison, catfish, and the ever popular alligator tail. Hemingway’s partners with local farmers and bakers for the freshest highest quality products and features all natural hormone free chicken, grass fed beef, and sustainable fish. My fries were not very good, greasy and burnt taste. Drinks took a very long time. My wife ordered a second beer and it took at least 10-15 minutes, even though keg needed changing out, way too long. Bartender was extremely slow, as I watched several people at the bar get very irritated and waited a long time. Hemingway's used to be so amazing. Sad. They need to up the staff trainings or get people wanting to work. We were there at 1:30.

Large group and nobody liked their meal. I decided to not give bass pro any more of my money after flushing it down the toilet at this restaurant. And I'm not picky. I'll eat Wendy's.
- NAnils aylorJul 25, 20265.0Our waitress Kristina was amazing. Our drinks never saw the bottom. She made great menu recommendations. Food was amazing especially the duck poppers. Portion sizes are very generous except for the poppers. The peach cobbler is to die for. The only thing I would not recommend is the sweet tea. I have a shellfish allergy and they cook all the shellfish separately so I was able to enjoy all the fried foods. Atmosphere is amazing with fish and you can hear the waterfall in the background.
