I had the worst fast food restaurant experience in my entire life, at this location. The manager is abruptly unprofessional, argumentative, inflammatory, aggressive, confrontational, rude, insensitive, lacking integrity and very tacky. They messed my order up by leaving stuff out, and when I request fresh hot food she tells me no, until I grab a card with the general manager’s info on it…which I requested from her and she stated she don’t have the info. The cashier lied to ight along with her. When I asked for the manager’s name she told me she didn’t know it…but you are working right here with her. Seems to be a place full of unprofessional people. I wouldn’t step foot back in here if it were the last restaurant on earth. If I could give it negative stars I would. They don’t deserve 1 star.
I had the worst customer service experience to date yesterday at this U City location. First time here, we went because my son says the honey chipotle chicken is the best and that he usually goes to the Creve Coeur location. I’ve never walked into a business where every single employee is angry and looking at the customers with contempt. My son ordered his honey chipotle chicken bowl and I told the First Lady behind the counter I’d like two more of those. She said we are all out of that. But I could see that the pan was half full of it. So I asked and pointed and said are you sure? She then rolled her eyes at me and said okay. I guess we are not out of it. The next employee that was in charge of toppings looked at me in a way that made me want to leave. It was shocking and I didn’t know what to do. My son says he knew we shouldn’t have come to this location. We were planning to eat there and go to Target after. It was such a hostile environment that we left and took it home. Since when is polite customer service not the norm. I don’t expect any small talk but to look at the customers coming into a business with contempt really surprised me. If that were my business I would fire every single employee there yesterday and close until I found some employees that understand what customer service is. And what it means to be a decent/human employee. I feel sorry for anyone else that went in there yesterday and experienced what I did. Terrible!

Not only was this place dirty, the customer service was so bad I didn’t even buy a drink because I didn’t want to spend anymore money there. I’ve never seen an employee roll their neck at someone asking a question, just flat out terrible. As someone in the service industry, get a new job if you don’t like working with the public.

Waited in line for 20 minutes and there was zero sense of urgency as a long line formed behind us. When we finally did order, the general manager who was making our food was very rude to my partner, rushed him through his order, talked over him as he was trying to speak, and by the time we left we didn’t really even want to eat it. We asked to speak to the GM on duty and she said she was the GM. I was speechless. That’s definitely no way to treat a paying customer and we will not come here again. Clayton location has much nicer employees and is much cleaner, I recommend going there instead.

By far the worst Chipotle experience I’ve ever had. I ordered a veggie meal, and the employee making my order repeatedly stopped helping me to start orders for customers who had arrived after me. As a vegan, it was especially frustrating watching him constantly handle meat and sour cream while leaving my order unfinished.
When I politely asked if he could please finish my order first, he looked at me and said, “You’re about to piss me off.”
I was stunned. I wasn’t rude, demanding, or disrespectful—I simply asked him to complete the order he had already started. Rather than escalating the situation, I walked out without saying another word. No burrito bowl is worth dealing with that kind of hostility.
Being treated with open intimidation for asking a reasonable question is completely unacceptable. I’ve never felt so unwelcome at a restaurant, and I won’t be returning to this location.
