Horrible Horrible Customer Service. Ordered my daughter a sandwich and while waiting in the drive thru line I saw that I had a free reward for a cookie. When I got to the window and asked "manager" to add the cookie, you would have thought I asked him to pay for my food!!!!!! He was so rude and obviously annoyed that I added a freaking cookie to my order. With NO ONE in line or inside. I about told him to keep the penny because that is all his customer service was worth. Raytown location is crap.
This location never fails to have something strange going on. Most of the time I come the employee running the drive thru is either trying to be friendly or is just strange... One time I came through and he read my name off my card?! Never have I ever had this happen to me, he also commented on my outfit and hair- which there is nothing wrong with but it made me feel uncomfortable after I gave him my card. We ran into him another day and he did the same. Today I came through the drive thru and was greated by a yelling voice, when I got to the window I paid and waited a long time for my food for a place that's supposed to be freaky fast, I ordered one sandwich and waited about 10 minutes for it. When I finally got my sandwich the only thing telling "Goodbye and have a good evening" was the hand being pushed in my face with a bag containing my sandwich.

Online ordering is just magically offline during lunch hour at one store but not all of them even when ordering online for a pick up it’s never ready when you get there no matter the amount of time you give them no one moves with any enthusiasm
First time ever visiting the Raytown Jimmy John’s, and somehow they managed to turn a FREE sandwich into a personal attack. I redeemed my rewards points for a free #7 Spicy East Coast Italian, which, by the way, takes buying approximately 14 million sandwiches to earn, so yes… I’m still going to complain about it.
I ordered:
* Xtra Jimmy Peppers
* Xtra oil & vinegar
* Extra onions
* Cut in half
What I received was:
* ZERO Jimmy Peppers
* ZERO oil & vinegar
* About three onions total
* Enough mayonnaise to lubricate a transmission
At first, I thought maybe they just missed the special instructions. Honest mistake, right? But then I noticed they DID cut the sandwich in half exactly like I requested. So apparently they read the instructions, ignored every single topping request, and said, “You know what this guy really wants? A mayo loaf.”
It takes a special level of incompetence to mess up a sandwich this badly at a place whose entire business model revolves around making sandwiches quickly and correctly. This wasn’t “Freaky Fast.” This was “Freaky Wrong.”
The employee who made this sandwich didn’t just ruin lunch — they tarnished the Jimmy John’s brand. If this location is the standard for quality control, then the tuna might actually be safer than the employees handling the orders.
Huge disappointment. I will never return to this location again.
